Christ died once for my salvation and that is all thats needed for your salvation.
True salvation is a 1 time thing.
John 3:16-18
Ephesians 2:8-10
And verse 10 in Ephesians 2:8-10 is how you know someone is saved.
Brothers and Sisters we must walk in the good works. We must show the world we are set apart we are the redeemed. The way to do that is walk the walk and talk the talk.

Well, it seems like most of us are in full agreement. Christ died one time for our sins. That is the sins before we were saved, and all sins after our new birth. There will be no other death for sins. One Death...One New Birth. That's it.
We have yet to hear from anyone that believes one can lose their salvation and has more then one salvation births. This could mean many things.
I feel the book of Hebrews is one of the best books to address this subect.

Its not that I dont think I am "saved" so to speak, its just that I think of Bible passages like the one where it says something like that we were grafted in and we can be grafted out (I cant recall the exact words)..
But the idea is that we should not be so haughty as to think like the Pharisees who went around thinking they were "God's chosen ones" and were the sons of Abraham.. The viewed themselves as the favorites of God and didnt think that God would ever be against them.
Its hard to put ito words what I mean, exactly. And Im not saying anything bad about anyone else here who regards themselves as "saved".
I guess I have fallen into various sins that I never even thought possible and so it taught me to realize that I am weak and liable to fall.

Sins are only rated by man. To murder is very bad in mans eyes, yet to God it is in the same area as lying. Also, the number of sins to man matters. If i sinned one time, to mankind I just slipped and they forgive fairly easy. If I sin over and over..i'm looked at as a dirty rotten no good for nothing sinner my man, yet to God both the one time sinner and the many time sinner are just sinners.

We have "locked in our targets" a few times on some threads. I want this post to not come across the wrong way. In all love that I can give from my heart in Christ i say these things to you.
God came to save sinners. He did not come to save the law keepers. This was why Christ was so hard on those that kept the Law. Its not that they too could not be saved. It was that it was much harder for them, for their trust was not in Christ but in their own works. Being free from the Law does not me we get rid of the Law. Our actions are nearly the same, but our reasons are not the same.
The Law is to show us we can not keep it. The Law simply points its bony finger at us and says...YOU ARE GUILTY!!
You say you sinned. I say..join the club. We all are sinners. We are not saved by what we do..or are we lost by what we do. Gods grace saves us. If you trust in your works..your not trusting in Gods Grace.
Once you see yourself as a sinner..you either change by doing Good or you give up on works and trust in God. This does not mean you stop doing good, it only means you do not trust in your works for salvation,
To change to good works..places salvation in your hands. Place salvation in Gods hands.
