How to answer this KJV Only?

That is a subjective opinion based on your choice of original language textform and your preference regarding translational philosophy.

No, mostly just sermon or teaching notes. The bible doesn't need correcting. :)
Surprised that Rippon did not bring into this the Niv instead of the Esv version, and would agree with you on this being very subjective, as I think the Lord can and does use many versions, such as Kjv/Nkjv/Nasb/sv/Niv etc!

There are a number of places where the KJV is better or more accurate than the Geneva Bible, and there are a number of places where the Geneva Bible is better or more accurate than the KJV.

I am not sure which of the two is better or superior overall.
You would aree that the Nkjv would be superior to either, correct?

I don't see a need for modern translations. If I were stuck on a deserted island with only an ESV, I suppose I'd use it. But, why use it if I have a KJV?
It would not be the preferred choice for one not raised up on it, or just saved, as would tend to get more from current/modern language translation...

Biblical literacy among Christians is at an all-time low, in spite of the flood of modern English translations. How do you explain that paradox?

If you study the Bible, you pick up the KJV English and so it's English isn't an obstacle. Maybe even the KJV English forces more diligent study. Maybe the KJV English makes the verses more memorable. Maybe the KJV English cultivates a reverence to the word of God. Maybe the KJV English is actually another reason to reject modern versions.

Bible understandin at all time low not due to modern versions, but do to the dumbing down in education across the board, and lack of solid teachings in many pulpits, and people ignorant as to how to study/apply the bible, lack of discipleship in many churches!

Are your mere unsupported speculations worthy of consideration?

There are other factors also --such as poor English that is not the form used today.
The bible doesn't need correcting. :)
But translations do --even the revered JR.

And if that's your preference that's fine Unfortunately KJVOs don't reciprocate that tolerance (to say the least!)

Some think that the worst english is being spoken today, due to the dumb down in schools!
