Now...

Bush vs. Clinton on education: "No Child Left Behind" is far more than Clinton did both in terms of dollars and in terms of federal control over local education.

On spending: Bush has wildly outspent Clinton, no comparison. Even without the needless and expensive "war" in Iraq.

On the deficit: Clinton left us with a surplus (if you accept the phony bipartisan accounting that includes the theft of our social security funds), and Bush has given us massive, huge deficits (using the same accounting).

On abortion: roughly a tie. No abortions are illegal today that weren't when Clinton left office. A few token gestures by Bush to sucker folks out of votes, but no babies saved.

On taxes: Bush made "cuts", but with the spending he has pushed for they are simply loans that will have to be paid back with interest, along with huge debt that will be paid for by the Bush family...er..no, I mean the taxpayers.

I don't have time to go on, but these are the high points.

I don't think anyone can prove that anyone else is godly, we just have to pray about the issue and let the Holy Spirit lead.

I have spoken with Michael Peroutka on the phone a few times and, as I stated on a previous post, spent many hours in prayer about supporting him. I am confident that I am doing as the Holy Spirit is leading me, and I am confident that Michael Peroutka is a Bible believing, born-again Christian, and both a godly man and a godly candidate.

Bush so I don't think the accusation of that being a harsh statement holds water.

If you want to vote for Peroutka, then by all means go into the voting booth and pull the lever for Mr. Peroutka. I will give my life for your right to do exactly that.

I don't believe that I have ever doubted George W. Bush's Christianity, although I have doubted the Christianity of some of his policies and some of his actions.

You and I both do un-Christian acts, but that doesn't mean we are not Christians. Bush has done MANY un-Christian acts, but his Christianity is between him and God.

As I have often said, if he were a serious candidate, I would seriously consider voting for him. I would like to have a legitimate option. I hope he keeps getting the press. I have never seen any major news story about Peroutka other than this one.
