Every translation represents the translators interpretation of the meaning of the text. Does 2 Thessalonians 2:13 say individuals were chosen "for salvation" or "to be saved?" One of the two is a deliberate manipulation of the text to hide conditional election. The Greek text has the noun salvation, but the translator manipulators change it into a verb in the RSV, ESV, NIV and at least a dozen others. Bible study uncovers these deliberate misrepresentations to fit scripture into bogus doctrines.
