Basis is God is GOOD, actually GOOD, Provably GOOD, demonstrated GOOD.

1 John 4 God is Love.

Having mercy on whom he will have mercy doesn't negate love of all.

God loves everyone, Forced love of God is pathetic vs someone who freely chose to love God.

Love is what it is and when its forced it is fake. Forcing it is evil. Rape of the mind.
You avoided the question.

Who does God like, utilyan?
On what basis would God like someone?

This question goes back to your erroneous claim, utilyan.

Which claim is in error? That Calvinist gospel is easily explained with IF GOD LIKES YOU THEN YOU ARE SAVED and IF HE HATES YOU THEN YOU ARE DAMNED?

"Who does God love?" God so loves the world he gives his son. John 3:16

"Basis?" Basis is a FATHER. Not a puppet master, not a rapist or a murderer. Not a fearmonger or a coward. He doesn't raise cowardly robots who seek license for their sins and blame God for all their own faults.

1 John 4
8Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

This verse is the best evidence you are clueless about God. A verse shun and hated by Calvinists.

You talking about the God of your own making. God of scripture does not love everyone, some people He hates.

But since humans are perfectly capable of having faith (in every conceivable thing), no one needs to give them any.
ahh ok, look at v29, written to all the saints in Christ, they were granted to believe in Christ.

Philippians 1
New King James Version

Greeting
1 Paul and Timothy, bondservants of Jesus Christ,

To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
----------------------------------------------------------
27 Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, 28 and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God.

29 For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,
30 having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear is in me.

I'm talking about JESUS CHRIST. TELL me who Jesus Christ hates. Your version of Jesus is a SINNER if he hates anyone.

When you think "GOD" its obvious how its nothing like Jesus Christ.

Give us the name of one person Jesus Christ hates.

This all stems from your own comments. Does God like all humans? It seems this is your claim. Am I understanding you correctly?
What would be the basis by which God likes all humans?

No names, but conceptually God hates all those who hate His people and hate God.
Remember Jacob I loved and Esau I hated, however we are not supposed to hate our brother. However Esau HATED Jacob his brother and was going to murder Jacob.
God's hatred of someone is expressed in judgement of them to destroy them.
Those God loves He saves from destruction.

Psalm 11:5
The Lord tests the righteous, But the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates.

Genesis 27:41
Jacob Escapes from Esau
So Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father blessed him, and Esau said in his heart, “The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then I will kill my brother Jacob.”

Deuteronomy 7:10
and He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them. He will not be slack with him who hates Him; He will repay him to his face.

Leviticus 19:17
‘You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.

Deuteronomy 32:41
If I whet My glittering sword, And My hand takes hold on judgment, I will render vengeance to My enemies, And repay those who hate Me.

CLEARLY, those God LOVES, HE SAVES, so if someone is not saved and goes to hell, God did not have HIS GREAT LOVE for them.

The opposite of LOVE is HATE. God is not indifferent to the sins of the wicked that He hates, He judges them but believers will not come under that judgement as they have passed from death into life.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

The context makes it clear that this is speaking of opportunities for faith and suffering, which are components of conducting ourselves in a manner worthy of the Gospel. It's important to follow the flow of thought which the writer has been at pains to make cogent to the reader. Paul confirms this by citing his own example.

"The opposite of LOVE is HATE."

No the opposite of Love is APATHY, because hate still involves CARING. If you hate they still catch your attention and still push your buttons.

Remember Jacob I loved and Esau I hated, however we are not supposed to hate our brother. However Esau HATED Jacob his brother and was going to murder Jacob.

They love each other.

Genesis 33
4Then Esau ran to meet him and embraced him, and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept.

The expression that Jacob is loved and Esau is hated is a comparison of priority. Jesus Christ does the same:

Luke 14

26“If anyone comes to Me and does not [r]hate his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple.

That doesn't mean well I guess you are not disciple of Jesus since you haven't shot your Father, mother, wife, children, brothers, sisters, or your own life. Tell us how much you hate your family and self. All it means is Jesus holds a higher priority.

Then I can quite accurately state your view as "IF GOD LIKES YOU THEN YOU ARE SAVED, IF GOD DOES NOT LIKE YOU THEN YOU ARE DAMNED", is this correct?

LIKE is not mentioned, only hate and love, your mention of apathy is also something God hates, consider the lukewarm verse. If your lukewarm
God spits you out.. your rejected. Laodiceans were apathetic, not caring much one way or another about spiritual things. sort of a take it or leave it hippy attitude, they were satiated in their flesh..
Revelation 3:16
So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

Chastening is for the Lord's people to prevent them from being condemned along with the world
in scripture he does not chasten the heathen. Chasten is a good word study to look through scripture to have a better understanding on who
God loves.
BibleGateway - Keyword Search: chasten

1 Corinthians 11:32
But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.

Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

Hebrews 12:6
For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.”

It does not say God chastens all people, only those God loves.

And if he loves all people those statements still ring true.

Does God command all or just non Christians not to sin?

Does God not command all people, everywhere to repent?

Matthew 13:49-50

So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
