How will God reconcile believers in heaven?

Many believers are divided against each other over secondary issues and many believers have been offended by others and so they do not speak with each other. I for one will not step foot in a IFB church again for various reasons. So how will God reconcile believers in heaven? Will He wipe our bad memories? Or will we have them but just look at them differently? This is a tough question but as you know christians are very divided against one another these days.
Great question sir! It really makes for some great thinking and reminds me of Augustine's quote, "In essentials unity, in nonessentials liberty, in all things charity."

God doesn't always give the "how" but it is sufficient to know that He will. I suspect that it has something todo with this (emphasis added): 1 John 3:2 (ESV) "Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is."

And get the reform Presby angry at us!

In the words of Rev. Al Sharperton... Why can't we all just get along... Here we can't because this world is just full of sin and sinners... Within and without!... There is NO SIN in HEAVEN... That is GODS home and only by the grace and mercy of Almighty God I hope to be there with ALL his blood bought, grace wrought children someday... Psst... Don't tell anybody but there won't be any denomination there either:Whistling... We will all live in complete perfect harmony, serving GOD and each other... That why they call that place HEAVEN!... I've had my say, now I'll shut-up... Brother Glen:D

Several issues here given the Word of God.

1. There are many false or imposter Christians (Matthew 7:21-23). People who will be cast into hell despite being very active in their church by the sound of it. Now to be saved is still quite simple really once drawn by the Holy Spirit (Romans 10:9, Luke 11:13), but these simple acts are in fact quite difficult (Luke 13:23-25). It seems many hearts, even in the church, are far from God as it was in the days of ancient Israel (Isaiah 29:13, Matthew 15:8-9, Mark 7:6-8, Jeremiah 32:33).

2. There is a judgment of Believers based on our deeds in the flesh (2 Corinthians 5:10). These people may be saved but as through flames, which at the very least indicates pain at our folly (1 Corinthians 3:10-15).

3. There is a hierarchy in heaven (Matthew 11:11).

In addition, the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (i.e. what is often called proper doctrine) is a virtue to pursue (2 Peter 1:5-9).

I heard a preacher years ago teaching our sanctification and level of descipleship is dependent upon our occupation with Christ. I would think when our feet are walking golden streets of heaven all old things will be bygone and will be preoccupied with Christ.

Does anyone seriously think that people will still hold grudges against each other in Heaven?

That, under the terms we know to be true will be awesome but without the change that will take place in us would be pretty bad. I will forever remember we were Yellow 1 that day and we had just inserted the first 42 troopers and taking off there were three NVA relieving themselves in the river with their backs to me, looking over their sholders and Yellow 2 and I opened up on them and they fell into the river. dead. I will be happy as all get out that the LORD will not allow those dreams in Heaven.

Or someone who raped/murdered your wife/daughter and was saved, and now there with all of you?

Excellent question YEshua. In my example of two GI's - I think each could understand- but in your example - only the love of Christ can wipe that away.

He will make us like 'Christ' as John tells us (1 John 3:2) - 1 Cor 15:41-58 is also pertinent!

The point being we will not need to reconciled for the resurrection is our final reconciliation to Christ Jesus, in and through which we will be reconciled to each other :)

This is where either the Cross of Christ really saves us, as just thinking of those brutalized by say a /Bundy/Dalmar, who had loved ones killed off by them, and yet both claimed to have become saved before they died!
