1Co 14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

It's not?
The point I am making is the context does not limit it to the 11am Sunday service. It is anytime the body "comes together."

Context is when the local church gathers to have "worship and teaching service:, not annual business meeting!

the bigger problem with "business meeting" isn't that women speak at them, is that there is one in the first place.

Elders. they attend to these things of administration. Deacons for leading in service/ministry.

We have had a period of presentation and if there is something in the presentation a congregant (we don't do "membership"; don't have papers and don't need shots) the Elders can certainly be addressed individually, but we don't roberts rules of order as there's not a meeting to enter for the purpose of deciding/voting.

I've found this to be quite better than all the wailing on in business meetings in my past.

So cannot teach boys and girls in a sunday school setting?

Some churches do believe that! The only class they would allow a women can have is the nursery

Why does the Baptist Church ignore ...?

Keep in mind that there is no such thing as the Baptist Church!
Each local Baptist church is independent and autonomous!
That's right - and that includes churches affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention - among others.

Now, you might ask - "Why do some Baptist churches......"
