And God will not take His gift back.
I did not earn salvation, I cannot continue to earn salvation, It is a gift.
By the Grace of God.
I earn a paycheck not a gift.
There are only 2 ways to view this.
1) Jesus paid for all of my sins
2) I pay for my sins
If a person doesn't trust Christ, that person is not saved.
Again, if I stood in front of God and he said, "depart from me, I never knew you" He would be a liar. And God cannot lie.
I have a relationship with Him and He knows me.
I pray that when I die I'll not have any unconfessed sin in my life.
What about this: If I pray right now for God to forgive all my sins in the future, am I covered?
Ohhh. I've already done that the moment I got saved. Now there is no more CONDEMNATION.
That is a promise from God.
Here is another promise, or did Christ lie?
Joh 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, HATH everlasting life, and SHALL NOT come into condemnation; but IS passed from death unto life. (caps mine)
I "hath" everlasting life... For those that don't understand ancient English it simply means I have (present tense) everlasting life.
If I have something that is everlasting, when will it end? When I sin and don't confess it?
Well that would be OK, unless you read the rest of the verse, I WILL NOT BE CONDEMNED.
I have already (IS) passed from death unto life.
I already have eternal life, I don't have to wait until I die to get it.
And what about:
Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
It says "things to come". I guess that means future sins.
I have heard verse 40 quoted though, It goes something like this, "except yourself"
but no Greek manuscript has been found to substantiate this claim, and no English version has it, it is just made up by people that like to boast that they can get to Heaven by being good little "Christians"
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should
boast.
I certainly will not boast, I sin daily.
I am not proud of it, but I am proud of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who shed his perfect innocent blood to cover my sins, past present and future, even if I commit suicide,(Not planning to though, so don't worry

) run a red light and die, or anything else that might happen.
If we have to keep ourselves saved by repentance then we had better plan on going to Hell.
