Yes, same Sabbath but not same day for observering the Sabbath (Heb. 4:10) but a greater and better day because of a greater and better work that brings in a greater and better creation.

Can YOU name one Law of the Holy God that you keep? Like the one not to misquote his Word, like YOU, DO, right here?

You MISQUOTE GOD, the <<same Sabbath but not same day for observing the Sabbath (Heb. 4:10)>>. It's just the opposite, o Pharisee!
It is the SAME "Sabbath DAY the keeping of which = 'sabbatismos' // 'Sabbatism' REMAINS for the People of God" ---"remains for" the "True Worshippers" of God who never changes; for "True Worshippers" of whom Jesus prophesied to the Samaritan woman, that they would "worship God in Truth (the Truth of God's Word) and in Spirit (the Spirit of Truth and not of the lie), neither here nor there in local 'accredited churches', but "in the spirit [and Spirit] on the Lord's Day":- "the day The Seventh Day SABBATH OF THE LORD GOD".

Lots of hot air but contary to the Biblcial facts. Verse 10 defines the explicit day for observing the Sabbath and it is not Saturday.

The singular "he" in Heb. 4:10 is identified as our "Great High Priest" in verse 14 who finished his redemptive work and commemorated just as God commemorated the work of creation by setting apart a Sabbath day. Christ rose just before 6 am on the first day of the week during the fourth watch of the night identified as "proii" (Mk. 13:35; 16:9).

You're right, <<it is not Saturday>>; it is "The Sabbath Day's-KEEPING [that] remains for the [NT] People of God."

Hee hee hee hee! Bright spark!

And who could have guessed, you're right again, <<The singular "he" in Heb. 4:10 is identified as our "Great High Priest" in verse 14 who finished his redemptive work>>.

Now who said differently? Me?! Then please show me, where?

But so sorry, oukie, This is hembug, <<Christ rose just before 6 am on the first day of the week during the fourth watch of the night identified as "proii"...>>.
A very BAD, trysle [as we would say in lekker Afrikaans].

Heeee hee hee heeeee-o-o-o-o!

They properly observed and interpreted the NEW COVENANT Messianic types (Lev. 23-25), NEW COVENANT Messianic Prophecies (Psa. 118:20-24), NEW COVENANT Messianic teachings through Christ (Mk. 16:2,9) and His apostles (Jn 20; Acts 2:1; 20:7; 1 Cor. 16:1-2; Rev. 1:10) that a great day commemorating a greater NEW COVENANT work was established by God to be commemorated (Psa. 118:20-24; Acts 4:10-11; Heb. 4:9-10). They saw clearly that the Old Testament Sabbath was the sign of the OLD Covenant whereas the first day of the week is the sign of the NEW Covenant.

The sum and summary of the traditions of men ABUSING THE WORD OF GOD every step of the way not a sign of a smile on his dial!

No ---THEY <misquoted> the Fourth Commandment - not Bob Ryan them.

[Bob though he may have misused them, never misquoted those big shots.]

Very simple!

OT Sabbath given to israel to observe and honor

Lords day, Sunday, Given to the Churchtoobserve and honor

God allows us to worship either day, its same to him, just as long as we have conviction on which day to honor him on!

NEITHER Day deals with me being/getting/keeping saved!

I thought I read a post from you recently where you were at one time willing to admit to the Christ of the OT - the one that we find in 1Cor 10:1-4 ("they all drank from the same spiritual ROCK (Petra) and that ROCK was Christ")and the "one Gospel" of Heb 4:2 "preached to us just as them also", saved by grace through faith.

the ONE Gospel of Gal 1:6-11 where Christ is "the same yesterday today and tomorrow" Heb 13 and the "God who does not change" Mal 3 - was providing the same Sabbath to the saints of the OT as to the saints of the NT - within the salvation experience.

in Christ,

Bob

So per your prophetess, ANY one refusing the Sabbath day as the right day is condemned right?
