...what can you say to your lost family members and friends about their sin and need for a Savior?

For what reason should your children receive correction from you about their sin while you're giving tacit approval of Trump's?

1 Cor 5:11 But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.

What do they say?

"I know Trump is sexually immoral, and I know he's greedy, and he's a slanderer, and he's a swindler, but the Bible doesn't specifically say NOT to vote for him, so I'm going to vote for him. Make America Great Again."

Imagine trying to tell your teenaged son to respect his mama and women while a Trump sign is in your yard.[emoji54]

Imagine teaching a Sunday School class in which you tell the kids to refrain from sex before marriage, but then they see your TRUMP bumper sticker.[emoji15]

Imagine having the audacity to claim to be an advocate against sex trafficking while supporting a Trump t-shirt.[emoji79]

Are some Christians really this oblivious to what this is doing to their witness? Do they care?

Imagine trying to teach a child to stand up for Christian values in the world which we are faced with while he/she observes other people who call themselves "Christians" - loving lies, spreading gossip and defending the likes of Hillary at every turn while making it their mission in life to try to convince other Christians to stick their heads in the sand and to allow things to keep going they way they have....

Here's the reality, You want to have your cake and eat it, too. You want to be a Christian in the MOST COMFORTABLE atmosphere as possible. You want the world to conform to your standards. You want the easiest Christian walk as possible. You want an environment that is conducive to YOUR BRAND of Christianity. And you are willing to vote in such a way (So you think) that you will be able to live this comfortable Christian life until you die or Jesus Comes back. You have absolutely no idea what environment will be most conducive to a Thriving Church body where people actually see the Mighty hand of God Work.

And they just keep trying to push this ridiculous"you're supporting Hillary" argument as their defense.[emoji19]

And while they are doing so, the walls are going up higher around the lost people watching as they stumble right over this hypocrisy into an eternal lake of fire.

Just disgusting.[emoji107]

Here's the thing, I can smell a Liberal Globalist mentality from a mile away. And behind that mentality is same kind of thinking that is allowing Christian principles and rights to be stepped on while Extreme Radical Islamist are allowed to spread terror around the world and our borders are left unprotected. The murder of unborn is being allowed to rise to the point of the day before birth and government corruption is left unchecked while our country get gets sold out on the Global Market. - And I have people trying to tell me I just want "MOST COMFORTABLE atmosphere as possible" while trying to convince me and others to stick their heads in the sand and you are calling this a form Christianity.

No thanks! Not buying it! I've not only taught my children to stand up for Christian values in truth but that to achieve that truth requires critical thinking skills to be involved in deciding one's actions. What you suggest in neither action or based on the truth concerning standing up for Christian values - it is "merely" a liberal worldly ploy to spread Globalism, which some Christians have unfortunately bought into and it is dangerous, irresponsible and foolish handling of the blessings we have been granted as Christian and should preserve in this sovereign nation, period.

Jon, don't waste your time. All you're gonna get out of that one is excuses for why his way and what he wants is better than God's way and what He commands.

I do recall some lil piece of scripture that touches on loving Christ more than your family. But alas, in our wickedness, we can come up with reasons that we think are just cause to disobey God.

Israel did it. Why not us too?

Yep. But again, like God said to Samuel about Israel, "they are rejecting me Samuel, not you"(my paraphrase).

So is it no wonder that the same folks crying out for a king to fix the country and"make it great again" are the same ones trusting in self and man over God?

I just double checked my Bible, and the books of Samuel, Kings, and Chronicles are still in there. History repeats itself.

Yeah? Between God and Samuel, which was it that that decided a head of state does not deserve his office because he did NOT slaughter every man, woman, child, and animal of a different nation? And who is more likely to do so to ISIS? B.Hillary or Trump?

Then does this biblical comparison, which was not introduced by me but by you-know-who, have anything valid to say about our current political situation?
Yes, i think it's simple. We are ambassadors TO a *Foreign Land*. We should be more concerned with Sharing the Gospel. Once again, you cannot legislate morality nor can you legislate Regeneration. Jesus Is our KING. The Kingdom is within, that's what our LORD said. If He was concerned with Political climate and a better atmosphere for His children to live in, why didn't He conquer Rome?

And why DID He order the genocide of the amalekytes?
Who are today's amalekytes? Unborn babies, if you prefer one candidate?
