Yes, I am saying the bodily resurrection of Christ is irrational based on the following definition:

    the definition of irrational
    irrational
    1. without the faculty of reason; deprived of reason.
    2. without or deprived of normal mental clarity or sound judgment.
    3. not in accordance with reason; utterly illogical:irrational arguments.

If God chooses, why does He ask me to believe?
The obvious answer is that because He chose us His choosing does not make believe.

So am I to understand, according to your argumentation, God for no reason raised His Son from the dead? Romans 1:4, ". . . And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: . . ."

Being Chosen for Salvation does not save you. IMO election is not Salvation nor is it a guarantee for Salvation. If it were the Jews would have never rejected Christ as there messiah because they would have been saved instead.

    No difference.
“And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.” (Acts 13:48)

You can refuse till the cows come home. You can make up all kinds of excuses to avoid the truth. Yet it is still Christ asking those He is speaking to, to believe in Him.

They already believe or they would not be listening to him. He is speaking to born again people (already saved) encouraging their faith.

The truth of this verse is in the Greek. The word Belief comes before the word appointed. IOW your hope is based on a mistake in translation.
