Christians need to get out of their sin of going along with the world's ways of analyzing the issues and get back to critiquing everything through God's Word.

Repent my brothers!

Amen to that.

We will have a Democrat as president in 2008, thank God!

I will personally thank God for whomever He places in office in 2008. We need both liberals and conservatives to keep a healthy balance. Liberal and conservative are not sins. But there are positional sins that have crept into politics and we need to reject them.

The personal issue though will be between God and His child. Did His child follow His word when casting their vote for a representative? Every deed while done in the body will be reckoned with at the JSOC.

In all reality, the President does not have much say in the economy. They all talk as if they matter but they don't. The economy takes care of itself through free market capitalism. Actually most other issues are pretty much in the hands of Congress and Congress stays pretty much in grid lock so not much will change if the President is a democrat or a republican.

The neat part of all of this is that God already knows who He wants in office for the next steps in His dealings with us and the world. I will "thank" Him for whomever it is!

The talking heads always say that the USA is approximately 80-90% Christian. It is in reallity probabaly 20-30% Christian and only about half of those probably even vote. So we as a group really do not have alot of clout in saying who gets elected. This is why it is more important to vote according to scripture than to vote according to the fervor of the world view. We have to give an account to God for every deed.

In these last days since Christians are becoming less and less an influence in this country God will use mainly the lost crowd to place into office those He chooses. Our responsibilty is to vote according to God's word. This will give a personal peace within not to mention peace at the JSOC.

I will vote only for a candidate who does not hold any position that dirrectly violates God's word. This allows me to praise God no matter who He places in office because I have done my part to honor HIs word.

What you do is go down through the list (all parties) and cross off all of those who hold postions of sin and then you are left with those who you can focus on for their leader skills. This will honor God and give you personal peace with God.

God Bless! :wavey:

Tell us how his governing personally set you and your family back.

- Huckabee made it less safe to live in Arkansas by being soft on crime(example: the Wayne Dumond case).

- Huckabee made it more difficult to make ends meet in Arkansas(example: raised the level of taxes in Arkansas).

- Huckabee encouraged and welcomed illegal aliens to live in Arkansas by being very soft on the issue, even to the point of wanting to use taxpayer money to fund college scholarships for the children of illegal aliens. He even complained when the federal government finally rounded up some illegal aliens in Arkansas. Huckabee also opposed denying taxpayer-funded benefits to illegal aliens. Huckabee also opposed denying voting rights to illegal aliens.

You believe Huckabee to be a big time liberal. We all know Hillary is a big time liberal. So they are equals at best for no one can be more liberal than Hillary.

I know that Huckebee is a big government liberal. I lived through his governorship in the state of Arkansas.

A lot of conservative Christians are supporting Huckabee while being ignorant of his record as governor in Arkansas.

There are lots of people way more liberal than Hillary Clinton. That is difficult for some conservative Christians to understand because of their fear and/or hatred of her.

I wouldn't vote for my former governor is he was the only candidate on the ballot. While the governor of Arkansas Huckabee was soft on crime, a tax raiser, and wanted to give taxpayer-funded college scholarships to the children of illegal aliens.

Huckabee may be pro-life; however, other than on social issues he is a big government liberal. I would rather have Hillary Clinton as president compared to Mike Huckabee. He was horrible as my governor; I certainly don't want him as my president.

Thank you for securing my vote for Huckabee..

The very fact that you would even consider voting for Hillary, means that you and I are not even close politically...

So since you are against Huckabee, it confirms my choice.

You cannot get any more liberal than the socialist marxism she espouses. And the hatred seems to be by you of Huckabee.

Hillary Clinton is not a Marxist. If you think she is then you are in desparate need to read a book on political philosophy.

I understand. But what i asked was how you or your family have personally experienced Huckabee's rule?

Where you or your family a victum of crime?

Did you fall behind on your morgage and go without eating a few times?

I don't understand why a Christain would fear any political person and any one who hates is not a Christian according to the scriptures. Oddly though, there are many professing Christians ho have no fear (respect) of their God. They go all in with those promissing to fatten their purses and ignore God's word on yoking up with those unbelievers supporting murder.

So you think, steaver, that unless one has personally suffered devastation by the bad/dangerous policies of Governor Huckabee that he/she should just give Huckabee a pass?

That doesn't make sense.

If you have not personally suffered nor cannot give an example of how the state's community of folks have suffered, then how can you say his policies are bad and dangerous?

Ever since I met my father and mother in 1963 they have steadily prospered. Didn't matter if it was a democrat or a republican as President. But anytime we had a republican as President she would moan the blues as if it was the end of her life, yet she just kept on building the wealth regardless and enjoyed all of the comforts of living in the USA.

Most of my uncles and aunts are hard line democrats and to hear them speak of the economy when republicans are in power you would think it was the great depression. Yet they continue to gain wealth even when the republicans are "controlling" things. Bush was the end of the world to my uncle who is a dairy farmer. Oh how devastation was engulfing the land! Yet in the past 8 years I have seen him by up two more farms (not cheap, they run about a half a mill for 80-100 acres here) and buy new farm equipment that runs upward of six digits. If he wants a new truck he just goes and buys one without batting an eye. He owns every piece of farm and earth moving equipment you can think of seeing sitting on a farm. But i will see him this thanksgiving and oh how bad things will be!

I know you are not like my uncle in the way I described him concerning republican verses democrat. But my point is you should be able to give a tale of the "devastation" you speak of if it be true. Otherwise is it just a gut feeling you have.

God Bless!

Ask the friends and family of the murder victim of Wayne Dumond who raped and killed her after Huckabee got him released from prison.

Yes, let's talk about that. This man Huckabee is a liberal on social issues and he is soft on crime.

KenH is correct. A basic review of Clinton would prove that she allows for the ownership of some private property. Meaning, she does not believe that the state should own all the means of production, a prerequisite for being Communistic.
