If we believe that Christ was God on earth then it follows that the way Christ lived his life and the way He treated others is the example of how we are to live our lives in relationship with others. He is the model of how our discipleship to him is to be shown in how we live. It is imperative that we enter into both the joys of others, but also their sorrows. It is imperative that we accept help when it is needed and give help to others when they are in need. Christ came to help, to aid, to redeem, not to judge and condemn. “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” [John 3:17].
