I usually don't post on these threads, but I've never heard the man before, so I checked him out. Several things came to my attention, looking at his video and youtube information.
The video was poorly edited....he ended by saying that he was going to "Germany in about a month, you better know I'm going to stand up everywhere I go"...yeah, that didn't come off too well, imo.
Otherwise, I noticed he is a young man, not that I'm much older and wiser, but I sometimes think that zeal gets confused with piety. From what I've experienced, young preachers tend to want to win the crowd when they start preaching. There are statements that you can make to get amens out of the crowd, but is that necessary to your preaching?
Not saying he has, I can only go by the things that he's said. Most of you have read some of the things he posted, and I kinda wonder if his reasoning here on the BB was to do what it did: ruffle feathers and cause conversation on his topics. Bad publicity is publicity, right?
As a preacher, I admire a preacher that has a heart felt desire to preach the word, even their approach is not a deciding factor (unless it is for shock value) to whether I listen or not, but it's the word of God being preached that makes the difference. If you are there for show then you'll entertain; if you are there to be obedient to the Lord, you will do as you are called to do: preach the word. Style doesn't matter, but obedience is a must.
Like I said, I believe the video was poorly edited because from what I heard, the statement used was for, imo, shock value and taken out of context from what the scriptures teach.
I can also say he has his mixed reviews of his videos. There are some that ridcule, and there are some that really applaud his way of doing things. We can say that those of the same mindset as his are all ignorant, but I think that would be a blanket statement. We can't ignore that many people really believe in that way of thinking, and in that tone.
Just some thoughts and what I've observed.

First of all he belittles the NKJV for not using the proper KJV wording and then later in his "sermon" he exchanges the KJV biblical word in his presentation with the 21st century common word.
Why? Isn't the word of God's choice good enough?
I remember reading a commentary by a renown KJV author and he himself re-translated the KJV passage and it came out being about 90% NIV.
Why is this important?
Because to be true to his argument he should always use the KJV wording whenever he preaches" on this subject.
Not only that he should always use it ending with p---eth
To further show the absurdity of this kind of "exegesis" (ignoring context, idiom and figures of speech), concerning God's requirements for a man, what about this passage of Scripture concerning one of the earliest requirements?
Seeing what happens on the 6th day and using this man's way of thinking, a real man is one who "tills" the ground.
How about this?

4 And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.

So, according to the logic above a preacher should wear a "leathern girdle" (not a belt mind you) and for "meat" eat locust and wild honey (no more steak, pork chops, etc...).

This is a "Straw Man" in my opinion. I am KJVO and I certainly do not appreciate being lumped in with this guy. I want to send in and request that I be included in his Repentance Hall of Shame, I would be in good company.
I would have hoped that the mods would have said something about the misleading title. I could find just as big a nut, who uses a modern version, and do the same thing...:BangHead:
