Which tells us that they have nothing. This whole exercise is an attempt to damage him for the 2020 election - it's politics at it's worst.

The Democrats never accepted their loss in the 2016 election and the call for impeachment started within days of President Trump's election. Why can't you people just accept that reality and move on to the next contest? We accepted the election of Obama and moved on into the future and got our candidate elected.

We have never seen anything like what is going on here - this is madness.

The words were "start an investigation". An investigation just might sustain what you claim and we could find out the truth as to what really happened - so what are you afraid of?

But for now, let us go to a few simple facts of the matter.

Fact #1. VP Biden is on video admitting that he leveraged 1 billion in U.S. aid money to stop an investigation into Barisma holdings, a company where his son was a board member.

Fact #2. Despite having no expertise in the relevant field of endeavor, Hunter Biden was given a place on the Barisma board to the tune of 50K per month.

Fact #3. Recently, a former State Department diplomat George Kent testified that the Obama Administration was warned about the impropriety of Biden's service on the board of Barisma.

Fact # 4. As regards China, once again we see that despite having no experience in that particular field, Hunter Biden and his company received a large contract from China to do some investing work that other large well established investment companies were not able to obtain.

Hunter Biden was either the luckiest guy in the world as regards business dealings, or the fix was in because his Daddy was the VP.

Don't you want to know if the former VP of the United States and his son were corrupt? I certainly do and the facts seem to point in that direction.

It is not a against the law to report suspected criminal activity and ask the government involved to help root it out.

Even if the Biden/Ukrainian/Russian mafioso was found innocent after the investigation.
It is not wrong to try to establish probable cause. Any citizen can do this including the president

Bur rather:
He probably has found a pathway to the SCOTUS through a clause in the Constitution.
He (Trump) no doubt will force a decision from the SCOTUS asking

DOES WHAT Donald J Trump DID FULFILL THE DEFINITION OF IMPEACHABLE HIGH CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS?

It will be in legalese of course.

This is going to be enjoyable, exciting, etc...

If President Obama had said what Trump said, Republicans would have been impeaching him faster than a horse can flick his tail - and rightfully so. There is no excuse for involving foreign countries in United States elections - I don’t care who the president is.

And the Trump supporters would have been cheering them on.
