Any conviction of Trump and that is the end of the GOP, Trump will form a new party and pull away many republican voters and some democrats too. I have read numbers like 60 million republican voters would join a Trump begun party. the perception is the Dem and GOP are becoming more of a uni party of swamp creatures, and does not represent them anymore.
Dems have abandoned the working class for example, becoming the party of global elites and global agendas, and the very poor who get a lot of free stuff promises.
