Is Grover Norquist an Islamist?

LadyEagle,

Do you check under your bed every night to make sure there is no one of the Islamic faith under there?

I would disagree with your description of Mr. Norquist being a main advisor for President Bush behind only Mr. Rove. It sounds like a plan to question Mr. Norquist's positions and then try to attach them to the president.

I really don't know why Bush haters like you, Lady Eagle, continue to act like you are going to be able to reverse the results of last November's election. It's time for you malcontents to stop looking backward and look toward 2008 to try to elect someone more to your liking as president. I know it's easier to throw rhetorical bombs but it ultimately does little except to feed your personal discontent.

Now, to address this subject(that is really a two year old subject - I'm surprised that the Bush bashers didn't bring this up last year): Here is a rather extensive article from a legitimate conservative magazine about the cause of this problem between Jaffney and Norquist -

www.nationalreview.com/york/york031903.asp .

Since it didn't come up during the 2004 campaign I guess that it didn't have the impact on the conservative movement that some were concerned about in early 2003.

Get politically active! Islam is winning because Christianity does not know how to fight!

Perhaps it is not our place to fight this battle of Principalities and Powers so that God in all his might and glory can defeat them without "our help".

Nonetheless, get politically active!

I really should edit your post. I am not a Bush hater. I resent the accusation because that is a lie. I am a patriot, first and foremost. A patriot alerts of danger whenever there is something wrong in our federal government.

Furthermore, Front Page Magazine is a conservative web publication. They do not hate Bush. Daniel Pipes is not a Bush hater. He is a terrorism expert.

You owe me an apology for bearing false witness, but I really don't expect one, neither do I expect you to check out the facts. But next time you accuse me of hating Bush on a forum I moderate, I will snip your post, just as I would if you attacked anyone else. That's a promise.

no one is a bush hater KenH...Bush works for
us and it is patriotic to hold him accountable
so instead of calling people haters...actually
defend bush or happy Grover.

plenty of Norquist quotes out there that have
to do with dividing this country he knows
how to use that to fill his pockets. I don't
like him but I don't hate him and hopefully
he can turn his meanspiritedness over to Jesus
Christ.

"Last Week I Saw Clinton" That's Sami Al-Arian speaking, boasting to his fellow-Islamist, Fawaz Damra back in 2000 or 2001, reports WEWS Channel 5 in Cleveland. (Al-Arian is the former University of South Florida computer specialist now in a U.S. jail for raising money for and directing Palestinian Islamic Jihad; Damra is the Cleveland imam convicted yesterday for the same thing.) Here are two snippets in full as we know them from the Damra trial now available:

A 1998 phone conversation:

Damra: "All the aid and such. You have received it?"
Al-Arian: "May God reward you and bless you."
Damra: "You will be receiving a second portion."

And the second one from 2000 or 2001:

Al-Arian: "Last week I saw Clinton."
Damra "You met him?"
Al-Arian: "Yes by God."

Comment: As court cases such as Damra's and Al-Arian's wend their way through the system, more such classified information will become known.

Clinton had his ties, too, with terrorists. Al-Arian has been the guest of both Clinton and GW Bush at the White House. It's called the Islamatization of America and it has been happening and continues to happen pre- and post- 09/11.

LadyEagle,

You may think this poor attempt at humor is funny, but to all the persecuted Christians in Islamic controlled countries (which continue to fall like dominoes), it wouldn't be considered much of a joke.

I apologize, LadyEagle, for the comment of "Bush haters like you". From now on I will restrict myself to the term "Bush basher" when referring to you. Will that meet your moderator guidelines?

Sincerely KenH I hope Grover repents and comes
to Jesus Christ...my own personal view he
comes off mean spirited and the quotes are out
there. imho

Isn't Norquist tied up in the Abramhoff scandal?

I will look for a link.

I am no fan of Norquist except I like his idea of drastically reducing goverment spending over the next couple of decades.

You see, I can like a person's particular idea without liking everything that the person says or does.

LE, I do believe that Norquist is at least a mouthpiece for the Islamists, but when demanding that others check out the facts you might give us the benefit of the source of your assertion that Norquist is Bush's number two advisor. Ken, is right: in your rush to bash President Bush, I think you're happy to latch onto anything.

I don't believe that Norquist is old enough to have been an "original John Bircher". I don't think I've ever heard him say anything that sounded like a Bircher.
