Sure he's anti Christian, at least anti-fundamental conservative Christianity. Now the ultra liberal Christians don't feel his wrath since he's kind of in their camp. Any reconstructionists would side with him and Rev Wright IMO.

The article you posted is suspect though, I think David Barton has tainted himself recently and you won't win many sympathizers with his articles IMO. Although he is probaly 98% correct, the 2% where he blew it will ruin his credibilty forever. And it should.

From the president's Easter 2012 message -

“For millions of Americans, this weekend is a time to celebrate redemption at God’s hand,” Mr. Obama said. “Tonight, Jews will gather for a second Seder, where they will retell the story of Exodus. And tomorrow, my family will join Christians around the word as we thank God for the all-important gift of grace through the resurrection of his son, and experience the wonder of Easter morning.”
For countless Christians as well as himself, Mr. Obama said Easter is a time to “reflect and rejoice.”
“Yesterday, many of us took a few quiet moments to try and fathom the tremendous sacrifice Jesus made for all of us,” he said. “Tomorrow, we will celebrate the resurrection of a savior who died so that we might live.”

Because this is a good article.

Can't argue with printed word...of course, his actions speak louder than his words. He has speech writers, and spin doctors, I suggest that this is probably the point of origin for this message, IMO! :type:

If we found these words from any of the founding fathers we would claim it as proof of our Christian heritage.

The problem was given to you in loose format and it is a fact that actions scream and words whisper. In his first year he disavowed the Christian Day of Prayer ad attended the Muslim Day of Prayer, kneeling to the east on his prayer rug. He has bent his knees to the King of Saudi Arabia and these things are very anti-Christian.

I'm sorry C4K, but he isn't even black!

...his bowing to that Muslim Cleric a while back was a sign of respect toward the Muslim religion. The only President of America to ever bow to another leader.

That guy has to go in November!

The issue is not what our President says, but what he does. He says all the right things, but his actions speak louder than his words.

Who gives life? God! So a pre-born baby has life given by God. Is this something that should be taken away without doing our best to preserve God's gift? What would the God fearing man do differently from a lip service Christian?

James describes faith as faith from which works flow, otherwise it is dead faith. So I could carry a huge bible under my arm, say the loudest Amen, and say I am a "committed Christian" yet in private say I will have more flexibility after the election, which means I engage in deception of those who may vote for me.

Again, the issue is not whether the President is a Christian or the status of his opponent - God knows; but whether his policies are more anti-Christian that his opponent.

God rescued the Hebrews from earthly slavery under the authority of government, but some sought to return to the security of slavery. How will you vote?

Actions do indeed speak louder than words. The question is not what the opponent says now, but what he will be doing 2-3 years from now if elected.

he also has given same type of message for Muslims/jews/Hindus etc...

Would say that he is postmodern, in the sense that from the presidents own lips and speeches...

he views jesus as being a great social leader/teacher, that jesus 'works for him", but that he also has said that ALL religion have a "valid faith message/all get to God"

He has also stated that he does not see jesus death for sins ONLY way to heaven , for his God would not allow someone in another faith get punished for their different way to God!

Think he is most into a christianity and a jesus that was a social radical, who wanted to share and spread the wealth around!

Obvious also NOT a conservative Christian, for on every social issue, he takes the wrong side!

If anything, President Obama is a trajectory of the majority of Americans in his approach to religion and Christianity.

The following from the OP reference says all that needs to be said!

4. Acts of preferentialism for Islam:

May 2009 – While Obama does not host any National Day of Prayer event at the White House, he does host White House Iftar dinners in honor of Ramadan. {47}

April 2010 – Christian leader Franklin Graham is disinvited from the Pentagon’s National Day of Prayer Event because of complaints from the Muslim community. {48}

April 2010 – The Obama administration requires rewriting of government documents and a change in administration vocabulary to remove terms that are deemed offensive to Muslims, including jihad, jihadists, terrorists, radical Islamic, etc. {49}

August 2010 – Obama speaks with great praise of Islam and condescendingly of Christianity. {50}

August 2010 – Obama went to great lengths to speak out on multiple occasions on behalf of building an Islamic mosque at Ground Zero, while at the same time he was silent about a Christian church being denied permission to rebuild at that location. {51}

2010 – While every White House traditionally issues hundreds of official proclamations and statements on numerous occasions, this White House avoids traditional Biblical holidays and events but regularly recognizes major Muslim holidays, as evidenced by its 2010 statements on Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha. {52}

October 2011 – Obama’s Muslim advisers block Middle Eastern Christians’ access to the White House. {53}

February 2012 – The Obama administration makes effulgent apologies for Korans being burned by the U. S. military, {54 but when Bibles were burned by the military, numerous reasons were offered why it was the right thing to do. {55}
