Is Putin the beast/antichrist?

Technically, there is no “Antichrist” (with a capital ‘A’) in scripture. There is only ‘antichrists’ (little ‘a’ - a description, not a name or title) and a “man of lawlessness”. The Antichrist is only found in fictional books on the END TIMES designed for the “best sellers list”.

There are most certainly characters referenced in Revelations (although literally “The Antichrist” as the proper name or title of a person really does NEVER appear in scripture), however MOST of the characters in Revelations are symbolic (two witnesses, a dragon and a woman, etc.) so it is risky to ascribe something in Revelations as 100% literal without some other reference outside of Revelations.

It is, therefore, reckless to conflate symbolic characters in visions with prophecies about real characters. It seems wiser to take each in its context and extract the meaning from THAT context.

Therefore, looking for any living person to BE THE Antichrist, first requires that one proves from scripture that there IS AN Antichrist (no small task since the word never appears as a name), then to clearly DEFINE from scripture what this Antichrist will be, and lastly to demonstrate that some living person fits this definition of this actual prophetic figure.

What typically passes for ESCHATOLOGY, is to conflate prophecies and visions from various places like choosing from a Chinese Menu (1 from column A and 2 from column B) and proclaiming this custom tailored ESCHATOLOGY to be The Truth. As Christians, we allow this with no other area of THEOLOGY. We do not select verses that we like from the Old Testament, the Gospels and the NT Letters and create our own custom SOTERIOLOGY … claiming “This is what we must do to be saved”.

I personally avoid Eschatology (more heat than light), but if you have studied it the please: Tell me about this “MAN OF LAWLESSNESS”. What do we know from outside of the symbolic visions of Revelations?

Though presented as singular he was almost certainly comprised of a body of 'many' as in these 'men':

After the coming of the Lord and the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in A.D. 70, John of Gischala was "condemned to perpetual imprisonment" by the Roman authorities. Thus was fulfilled Paul's prophetic and symbolic language that this man would be destroyed by "the spirit of his Jesus mouth and brightness of his [parousia] coming" (see Isa. 11:4; 30:27-33; Hos. 6:5; also Da. 7:8, 19-28).

Verses 11-12. "For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but delighted In wickedness."

Josephus records that the Roman General Titus had no intention of destroying the Temple. The Romans wanted to preserve it as a trophy and monument of their conquest. Even Josephus personally pleaded with John of Gischala to surrender. But such a "madness" swept through him and his Jewish followers that they taunted the powers of Rome and refused to listen. I’m looking for a “pre-tribulation rapture” … but not counting on it.

I just hear a lot of people getting their panties in a bunch over some “one world leader” that THEY call the ANTICHRIST and claim everyone will worship as God. Most of it seems more “Hollywood” than Bible, but I am always willing to be shown scripture.

Well, we know he will have great power. When the Jews build their new temple in Jerusalem, I believe they'll closely guard it to keep gentiles out, & anyone wishing to enter will hafta show proof that he/she is a Jew. But this man will enter it with impunity, likely because his forces have subdued the Jews. He will stop the sacrifices & proclaim himself God, something not even Antiochus Epiphanes did in the old temple.

And the visions about him in Revelation are mostly LITERAL. Most of our intel about him is found in the Rev. He's only briefly mentioned elsewhere in Scripture.

Can you prove that Satan was personally involved and worshipped, and the whole world was decieved by Satan, and followed this FP? Did Satan have control of both Rome and Jerusalem? Did 10 kings join Satan and this FP to actually declare battle on Jesus Christ? Did Jesus Christ defeat all of humanity, save Jerusalem from destruction, and set up His Glorious Throne in Jerusalem? Did the angels come and remove all souls from every human on earth? Was there a resurrection and those resurrected still alive and reigning in Jerusalem with Christ to this very day?

Very interesting this revelation of the Apostle John of the primitive Church. Who is the Apostle John talking about or to whom is he referring in the verse above? Have you sometime meditate about that?

See, we know that the book of Revelation was showed to John around year 95 AD, i.e. 65 years after the ascension of JESUS to the third heaven. And we know also that there are two distincts Beasts described in the book of Revelation; The FIRST Beast -Revelation 13:v.1 to 10 - the Gentile Beast of sea(sea means waters, and waters mean peoples, and nations, and multitudes of all tongues-, and the SECOND Beast that will come out of the earth-Revelation 13:v.11 to 18 - actually a Jewish Beast like a lamb having two horns, a FALSE LAMB, of course, in fact a FALSE Messiah -JOHN 5:v.43-47-, an ESOTERIC, AND KABBALISTIC, AND SPIRITIST MESSIAH, AN IMPOSTOR, and HE SPEAKS AS A DRAGON. The Spirit of prophecy are not saying nothing about temple in Daniel 9:v.27. Actually you are not the first I have heard to speak of thing like that, and I am sure that it is not you who invented that false interpretation based in speculation, or supposition, or conjecture, unfortunately.
I will never believe in prophecies which will never be fulfilled themeselves, because are not true.

You don't know Scripture nor current events very well. The Jews have the materials & instruments ready for building a new temple, & they're breeding the animals, including red heifers, to be used in temple rites. Several Scriptures say the "man of sin" will enter the temple & set up his statue, which the false prophet will supernaturally make speak, while the "man" declares himself to be God. This is the "abomination of desolation", which has NOT yet occurred, but that Jesus said to watch for.

Truly there will not be any kind of sacrifice as was in the OT, nor there will be any red heifer, These prophecies were not given by the Holy Spirit, but spirit of man very familiarized with conjectures, and presumptions, and cunningly devised fables, guessings, suppositions, and so on.

Daniel said the beast will enter the temple & stop all daily sacrifices. That didn't occur when Antiochus Epiphanes entered the temple & set up a statue of Zeus. He sacrificed a pig. But the coming beast won't recognize any god but himself.
