This says enough:

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." John 5:24

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." John 5:24

"He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me",

includes, "He that heareth my word", from which "hearing",
they were CONVICTED of THEIR SINS
and GIVEN REPENTANCE
and FAITH in The Death, Burial, and Ressurection, to "BELIEVE".

CONVICTED of THEIR SINS
and GIVEN REPENTANCE
and FAITH are IMPLIED, because there is, "ONE WAY", of Salvation.

Jesus is The Savior.

But Paul also said:
....the doers of the law shall be justified Ro 2:13

with the implication of, "....the doers of the law", in the WITNESS of their Christain behavior shall be justified" "BEFORE MEN Ro 2:13

Nothing to do with, "REGENERATION".

But then he says:
...by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified... Ro 3:20

Amen.

But then James says:
...by works a man is justified, and not only by faith. Ja 2:24

with the implication of, "....by works a man is justified.",
in the WITNESS of their Christain behavior shall be justified" "BEFORE MEN".

But Paul also says:

....It is God that justifieth
This is The ONLY Kind of Belief/Justification, from GOD, to REGENERATE.; Ro 8:33
THIS is The NEW BIRTH.
by his grace....Titus 3:7

....being now justified
Belief/Justification, from GOD, to REGENERATE and rendered them from their guilt,
THIS is The NEW BIRTH.

"
by his blood...Ro 5:9
THIS is The NEW BIRTH.

<sigh> The context is, "the righteous judgment of God; who will render to every man according to his works".

Nothing to do with, "REGENERATION".

"The work of the law written in their hearts", and, "circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter" are metaphors for the work of God within, i.e., regeneration.

That's by 'the letter', not by 'the spirit'.

Wrong:

Before God:
12 And he said, Lay not thy hand upon the lad, neither do thou anything unto him. For now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son, from me. Gen 22

21
Was not Abraham our father justified by works, in that he offered up Isaac his son upon the altar? Ja 2

Before Christ:
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 for I was hungry, and ye gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in;
36 naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Mt 25

27 Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. Ja 1
15 If a brother or sister be naked and in lack of daily food,
16 and one of you say unto them, Go in peace, be ye warmed and filled; and yet ye give them not the things needful to the body; what doth it profit? Ja 2

Justified that he was a child of God.
