God, of course, has plans for the future for Israel, but the sectarians do not know about them. Israel will be "the light of the world" (Matt.5:14) and "the salt of the earth" (Matt.5:13) in the Millennium.
Who or what is "Israel" in the present "dispensation?" The long promised Seed of Abraham, the Messiah, has come and redeemed Israel, completing his God-given ministry by his service, atoning death, resurrection and ascension. According to the promises to the Patriarchs, all nations on earth are counted in, by faith, not physical descent.
Gen. 22:18 In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”
Isaiah 49: 6 Indeed He says,
‘It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant
To raise up the tribes of Jacob,
And to restore the preserved ones of Israel;
I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles,
That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ”
John 1:11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Mat. 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, 9 and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.
Romans 4:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. 29 Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, 30 since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. 31 Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.
Gal. 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
How is that you believe that the present state of Israel the covenant Israel? Unbelieving Jews only receive the promises by repentance and faith.
Romans 11:23 And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.
Perhaps, but WE (not the nation-state of Israel) are already supposed to be the salt of the earth and light of the world. That teaching is not for the future.
That's the clear teaching of Scripture.
There are thousands of denominations today. Their devil's doctrines (1Tim.4:1) contradict each other and biblical doctrine. Neither devil's doctrines, nor sectarians are neither the light of the world, nor the salt of the earth. In Israel, shall be ALL "taught of God" (John.6:45). The earth "shall bee full of the knowledge of the Lord" (Is.11:9) in the Millennium.
Thousands of denominations?? Rather, many thousands of local churches, bodies of believers in the Saviour, our LORD Jesus Christ.
Some of these calling themselves "Christian" will include false doctrine, like the RCC which is a political denomination claiming universal authority under the Pope. Whenever a church claims authority apart from the New Covenant Gospel then there is error, for such authority assumes a judgment that is God's alone. God judges our hearts.
We may recognise only as believers those baptised by immersion on confession of faith. Good! But dare we exclude
those with a living faith who were baptised as infants, or by sprinkling? Should we separate from those who worship on the seventh day Sabbath? Or those who worship on the first day of the week, aka the Lord's Day? We should look for a living faith, not submission to a ritual.
Israel's situation is blatant unbelief, rejection of the Law, rejection of the Messiah, and pursuit of the promise to Abram through war, hatred of neighbour, theft of land and water, destruction of fruitful trees and land.
NO! Christians should reject all that carnal Israel is doing in what they claim to be a land promised by God. REPENT! MESSIAH HAS COME!
There is a whole spiritual realm, and the promise of a New Heaven and New Earth, the home of righteousness.
