It is time for a new party

No. Time to take back the Republican party. It can be done.
Aaron is right, in more ways than one. Until third parties get serious about becoming a reckoning force, they will go nowhere. Now is the time, within the Republican Party, to work towards a conservative nominee.

The only new political party to gain power was the Republican Party and they fixed it so that it will never again happen.

The problem with the Republican Party is that it is already too far right, but if you think this will help, go for it. You may not ever win another election if the party is not modified, but I doubt you will listen to this.

au contraire. If the Republicans had run a conservative nominee, they'd have cleaned up.

Sorry, it is too late, the Takers are now 50% plus and growing. The GOP is done unless they become identical to the DNC which would be pointless. I feel it will be like a dictatorship while the libs rule for the foreseable future. Christians will have to live like the early church did under Roman rule. This may be a difficult but necessary thing for the Church. IMO

Then we go down like Nathan Hale, but it isn't pointless.

I agree. As long as the Republican Party aligns itself with people like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Ann Coulter and Donald Trump, the future of the Republican Party is doomed.

I am not happy with either the Republican or Democratic parties. I would like to see a viable third party option.

If the Republicans move further left they will continue to disappear. They will be a second Democrat party, which in reality it already is.

If they want to survive they will embrace the Constitution and stand up as true social and fiscal conservatives.

Yea exactly, the phrase too far right usually comes from people who like feeding at the federal trough.

Thanks Robert - I needed to hear a funny joke today - but seriously lets talk about all the liberals in the Republician Party.....

What would you consider a "liberal" in the Republican Party? Most of the real liberals like Lincoln Chafee are gone now, those who you deem "liberal" are really centrists or moderate conservatives.

So if the Republican Party is too far right, what modifiications would you suggest they make yet keep a difference with the Democrats? Believing the Constitution is the way to govern is not left or right.

If I did not listen to your ideas, I would not respond to your posts.

Too far right? It's what Democrats think.

You know what the problem here is? It's us. We're the problem. Instead of trying to change the republican party or make up a new one why don't we just change our false paradigm to match reality?

Then maybe we can accomplish more than just arguing amongst ourselves and GIT-R-DONE!
