How do you call a baby to repentance, or a brain damaged person, or a child who dies as an infant? Now the Catholic would want an infant baptized asap to insure salvation. A Presbyterian, Calvin’s manufactured church, would add the clause (remember Calvin was a lawyer) that if the child was born into a Christian family then he was naturally inducted into the fold and therefore a saved human. But where does that leave the baby not infant baptized or Presbyterian? Would you say hell bound?

I don't know. But I can dig you up more places where God commanded Israel to kill their enemies, even children and infants.

Those who die never hearing the gospel go to hell. John 14:6 & Acts 4:12. Is there another way the bible speaks about?

Whether it be via preaching, reading, witnessing, sign language, however they communicate it. But no one is saved outside the gospel proclamation.

Define the gospel, since you're being so coy.

So then, you consider babies who were never preached to outside the gospel?

I recall a time in my own life that I ignored the word. It took the HS to reach out, to convince me of my... er, hard heart toward God. But to a infant or to the brain damaged perhaps its something that I don’t see working in their souls... I don’t know

Look Brother, I was conditioned my whole life, by well meaning ppl, to believe that as soon as a baby died, it was ushered into heaven. There would be rejoicing in that, that innocent baby had never sinned, died sinless(when the Christ is the only sinless One who died), and was welcomed into the joys of the Lord. Now, I was also conditioned to believe the doctrine of Original Sin to be false. I trusted these well meaning ppl for years, seeing I was taught this at home, and then later in the churches I attended.. We were not raised in a Christian home, but we were taught about who God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit were.

So, if Original Sin is true, and I believe it is, all mankind fell, being in Adam, as he was our Federal Head. Now, out of all Adam's posterity, God chose a # that no one can #, and He gave their sins to Him to atone for. We do not know who the elect are, so that is why we preach the gospel to every one we can.

As for babies, that is a subject I can not give you a definite answer on. I know you lost a child in infancy, and I am truly sorry that that happened. But I can't say one way or the other. I do know that all who the Father gave to His Son to redeem, will be redeemed. Not one more, not one less.

Nope. The gospel is found simply in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

BTW.... I am not being coy. I have had a long time thinking and praying about this. I have had both a brain damaged sister and a baby die and so I always wanted to know their status regarding salvation. I finally concluded that “Shall not the God and maker of the Universe do right” ... and I am content with that.

Ppl rush to 2 Samuel 12 in defense of babies automatically being ushered into heaven. But I don't see David's remark meaning what they say it does. Let me explain how I understand that passage.

Last July, wifey and I lost our Pug of 9 years. It crushed me inside. To this day, I still have a good bawling session at times. Every so often, I go and visit her grave and even talk to her, telling her how much I miss her, and how much I still love her, and the massive hole she left in our home when she left us(we had to have her put to sleep). It hurts typing this right now. I have told her numerous times I felt like digging her grave up and crawling in there with her, and covering myself up with her. I feel like a part of me died when she died. We was with her when they put her to sleep, and I can still feel her side fluttering in my hand as she went to sleep.

That's how I think David thought when he said that he would go to him. I think he felt like dying with his son.

And that's the point I have poorly tried to convey to you. No one will be cheated in Judgment day. No one will be done wrong.
