Yet, no one who has read it here at the BB, reads conditional election into the verse. You are the only one. This means you are not correct in your statement. Moreso, you misinterpret the verse itself and do not grasp faith as being authored and finished by God as a gift to all whom He has chosen. No conditions added.
You do not know what others understand the verse to say, you just make it up and post it.

I am aware of the Calvinist false doctrines, and the fiction you seem to believe. There is no support anywhere in scripture, for Calvinism. For example, unconditional election is clearly shown to be fiction by 2 Thessalonians 2:13 and James 2:5.

Note the complete absence of any specific issue, just a wordy "taint so."

Christ laid down His life as the Lamb of God, the sin offering for all humankind, and when God accepted His sacrifice for sin, Christ became the propitiation or means of salvation for the whole world, all humankind.
You avoid the Covenant atonement of the elect as the object of it.
You will not come to truth but instead keep offering guesses.

I know that at present zero people have expressed agreement with you on this verse.

What is Calvinism in your mind, Van? Is it what Calvin taught? If so, reference the statements of Calvin.

Endless change the subject to Van posts is all they have to defend their obviously false doctrine of unconditional election in light of 2 Thessalonians 2:13

Yet another change the subject to Van post. This is all the posters have, since 2 Thessalonians 2:13 and James 2:5 show God chooses believers for salvation, a conditional election.

On tv they are have shows where people intervene in someone's life and try to help the person see and face the struggles they face...it is like that.

On and on, one subject change after another. But 2 Thessalonians 2:13 and James 2:5 teach conditional election through faith in God and love of God. So simple a child could understand it.
