We use ivermectin, extremely rarely, as a farm chemical. I have a gallon of it in an outbuilding. One year we had a bad red mite infestation in one of our chicken shelters. We gave all the poultry a bath of ivermectin and then sprayed the entire coop. Ivermectin is typically used to kills pests like ticks/mites/bugs. It wouldn't surprise me if it did the same to viruses inside someone, but I wouldn't want to try it lol.

Ivermectin also kills and prevents barnacles from growing on boat hulls.
And it only takes a very small amount mixed in paint to do that.
Of course not approved of for that by the EPA.

Boat owners can fight barnacles with new eco-friendly method (phys.org)

CDC is still against in using Ivermectin due to side effects. However, when your feet is under the ground, your priority is to survive. So you will all try the means to live.

Options and choices, oh I guess that only counts if you’re pregnant.
People should have options.
I don’t get doctors who refuse to try something else when their current treatment isn’t working. Really?
just run up the icu bill and they’ll eventually get better or die.
If the doctor refuses to give steroid inhalers, hydroxy chloroquine , ivermectin , or a high dose vitamin solution through IV, then the patient should should be able to use a doctor that will.

A medication may have a primary use but be used to treat other illnesses or ailments.

You as the patient should have a choice.

but I guess that only applies if you want to kill your baby.

The Gateway Pundit!? From wikipedia:

The Gateway Pundit (TGP) is an American far-right[2] fake news website.[1] The website is known for publishing falsehoods, hoaxes, and conspiracy theories.[28]

Now to be clear: I am aware I am not addressing the content of the article.

But the credibility of sites you guys cite is a relevant consideration.
This is how this works……leftists slam Gateway who is first up to report stuff that msm’s run from. You must due your own due diligence but they are putting the dogs on the trail.
Your trail leads to wiki, over & over. Smirk.
Wikipedia is a far-left propaganda resource and has been for years. We have long known, and railed to no avail. Wikipedia is a joke and no one with a measure of integrity and/or scholarship goes near it.

Wikipedia is but one cog in an immense propaganda machine inundating the body politic with lies and disinformation – like all totalitarianism regimes.

  • He said: ‘The days of Wikipedia’s robust commitment to neutrality are long gone’
  • Sanger said he is now working on a new ‘Encyclosphere’ project but said he has hope Wikipedia could be ‘fixed’
  • His own Wikipedia page documents a long history of criticism against the site he co-founded
Co-founder says Wikipedia’s neutrality ‘long gone,’ cites leftist bias
“And then when the rest of the media and tech became insanely far left, Wikipedia naturally went along with the trend,” he tweeted.

By: Dave Boyer – Washington Examiner, February 21, 2021:

The Fox analysis cited the two main pages for “Socialism” and “Communism” that span 28,000 words but lack any discussion of the genocides committed by socialist and communist regimes, in which tens of millions of people were murdered and starved.

“The omission of large-scale mass murder, slave labor, and man-made famines is negligent and deeply misleading,” economics professor Bryan Caplan, who has studied the history of communism, told Fox News.

In a blog post, Mr. Sanger said examples of bias on Wikipedia “have become embarrassingly easy to find,” pointing to the entries for former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump.

“The Barack Obama article completely fails to mention many well-known scandals: Benghazi, the IRS scandal, the AP phone records scandal, and Fast and Furious, to say nothing of Solyndra or the Hillary Clinton email server scandal — or, of course, the developing ‘Obamagate’ story in which Obama was personally involved in surveilling Donald Trump,” Mr. Sanger posted in May 2020. “A fair article about a major political figure certainly must include the bad with the good.”

He said the entry about Mr. Trump shows that Wikipedia’s neutrality “is a joke.”

“Just for example, there are 5,224 none-too-flattering words in the ‘Presidency’ section,” he wrote. “By contrast, the following ‘Public Profile’ (which the Obama article entirely lacks), ‘Investigations,’ and ‘Impeachment’ sections are unrelentingly negative, and together add up to some 4,545 words — in other words, the controversy sections are almost as long as the sections about his presidency.”

He said Wikipedia frequently asserts “in its own voice, that many of Trump’s statements are ‘false.’ Well, perhaps they are. But even if they are, it is not exactly neutral for an encyclopedia article to say so, especially without attribution.”

The Wikimedia Foundation said in a statement that Wikipedia “is a living, breathing project, and is always evolving just as our shared understanding of a topic does.” It said the foundation does not directly control the content on the site, which is written by volunteer editors.

The spokesperson also pointed to a Harvard study that “shows how the more people edit an article, the more neutral it becomes,” Fox News reported.

Daily Mail:

His own Wikipedia page documents a long history of criticism against the site he co-founded.

Sanger’s woes with the company were first revealed in 2004 when he wrote an article for the website Kuro5hin.

Sanger’s article claimed that Wikipedia, which calls itself ‘the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit,’ is not perceived as credible by librarians and academics because it lacks a formal review process and is ‘anti-elitist.’

In 2007, Sanger criticized Wikipedia again after the launch of Citizendium, another wiki-based encyclopedia he created to address the ‘flaws’ with Wikipedia.

Sanger said Wikipedia was ‘broken beyond repair’ and had ‘a whole series of scandals’ from ‘serious management problems’ to ‘frequently unreliable content,’ according to IT News.

The techie again distanced himself from Wikipedia in September 2009 when he claimed: ‘I thought that the project would never have the amount of credibility it could have if it were not somehow more open and welcoming to experts.’

‘The other problem was the community had essentially been taken over by trolls to a great extent. That was a real problem, and Jimmy Wales absolutely refused to do anything about it,’ Sanger told Internet Revolution.

Sanger sent a letter to the FBI in April 2010 claiming that Wikimedia Commons was hosting child pornography, according to a BBC article.

‘I think Wikipedia never solved the problem of how to organize itself in a way that didn’t lead to mob rule,’ Sanger said in an interview with Vice in November 2015.

‘People that I would say are trolls sort of took over. The inmates started running the asylum.’

In the Vice interview, Sanger equated the alleged trolls that took over the platform with modern-day social justice warriors.

He again called Wikipedia ‘a broken system’ in a May 2019 interview with 150Sec, his page noted. He said the leaders did not ‘come up with a good solution’ ‘to stop bad actors from ruining the project.

Sanger described Wikipedia as ‘badly biased’ in a May 2020 blog post in which he claimed the site no longer had an effective neutrality policy.

‘The notion that we should avoid “false balance” is directly contradictory to the original neutrality policy. As a result, even as journalists turn to opinion and activism, Wikipedia now touts controversial points of view on politics, religion, and science,’ he wrote.

All right, let's look at the actual evidence about the cred of The Gateway Pundit. The Gateway Pundit made this claim:

If we have 213.8 million registered voters in the US and 66.2% of all voters voted in the 2020 election, that equals 141.5 voters who voted in the 2020 election (Binney shows 140 million which is materially the same). If President Trump won 74 million votes, then that leaves only 67.5 million votes remaining for Biden. This means 13 million duplicate or made up ballots were created and counted for Biden!

Are you saying this is not a monstrous distortion? If you are going to defend this claim as accurate, are you willing to join me in doing the math to see if this claim holds any water?

I promise you - and I think you know this - you do not wish to go there.

Have a look at the daily stories today, & with the exception of maybe Daily Mail, doubtful you will ever see reported on the propaganda arm of the left, the msm.

Vague answer and evasion noted.

Do you deny that Gateway Pundit lied here:

My question is clear, my question is simple: Do you deny that the above claim from Gateway Pundit is a lie?

You flatter yourself. I’m not evading, you were lucky to get any response from me. The Epoch Times has become the bellwether for me, of course they are not done by one main individual like Gateway. I give full props to Gateway for always getting there first. To your original rant? I’m not denying/or accepting anything regarding the ‘election’, & you shouldn’t either if you claim to be a truthseeker.

Abby Johnson: I Dared to Talk About My COVID Experience, And Then the Hate Poured In (westernjournal.com)

She and family got better due to one thing, Ivermectin, and other things.
Shared her story and got hated on, because she got treated for covid, and the leftist's running the government medical system say there is no treatment except supportive care.

Ivermectin will always be anecdotal and have no proof of cure because that is what the left and others want.

"I was able to get a hold of America’s Frontline Doctors, who prescribed a combination of vitamins and medications, including ivermectin, which helped us immensely. None of us were sick long thanks to the regiment of medications, time outside in direct sunlight and IV fluids."

A few people on this forum are also quick to hate on Ivermectin as well, I have seen it in the things they say. Birds of a feather, flock together, ideologically.

I know the left on here hate this website, and others too, the friends of Fauci and the CDC.
Wait for it, they might come on here and say that is a lie, misleading, anecdotal, no proof, dangerous, you're not a doctor to talk of Ivermectin use for covid.

If you had cited a legitimate news source, you would know that he also received monoclonal antibodies, which characteristically gives this fast turn-around if given before the patient becomes severely ill.

My mother, step father, and several friends have received monoclonal antibodies as their COVID treatment and had a very quick recovery, without all of those unproven drugs.

This article is similar claiming that a patient had an acute infection and that they were treated with a garlic necklace, an enema, essential oils, castor oil, "and [unnamed] other medications" (which were actually antibiotics), then claiming that the medical establishment was trying to hide that a regimen of a garlic necklace, an enema, essential oils, and castor oil was the cure to infections.

Well, everyone could use an enema every now and again... the ultimate relieve experience! Just make Sure you flush the toilet after the event.

My wife said they would worm the horses with it... cheaper than diatomaceous earth powder (food quality). I would do my chickens with the DT.

AU has tried several medications for covid patients (severe cases). They report monoclonal antibody therapy has helped.

Again, this is severe case in the hospital.
