Not exactly a great showing at home by Alabama against a clearly second tier NCAA Division I football team.

I wonder if the Hogs lose to Louisiana-Monroe in two weeks will that be the end of the Houston Nutt era.

It counts for absolutely nothing with me. Now Arkansas Tech, on the other hand...well, that is where I went to college.

A win is a win is a win. Bama are still struggling to get back in the first tier of the SEC.

BAAAAAAWWWWW, HAAAAWWWWWW, HAAAAWWW----my stars, JBot----your "Pigs" just lost to the School for the Blind!!!!!!!! A frizzlin' conference game at that!!!!!!

    BAW-HAW-HAW-HAW-HAW!!!

    BAW-HAW-HAW-HAW-HAW!!!

I would suggest Coach Houston Nutt go ahead and get in touch with the mighty men at U-Haul!!!!

    BAW-HAW-HAW-HAW-HAW!!
</font>[/QUOTE]Joseph---ole buddy---ole pal!!! Is there room for Blackbird to repent in sackcloth and ashes for his wild, wild criticizm of your beloved "Pigs"???!!!!

See?? The reasonin' is----I am a big LSU fan----and I have just received the totally pathetic bad news that our Tigers will be playin' the "Vols" in Baton Rouge---this Monday nite---the game was postponed due to Rita----and Blackbird hates to say it----but the Tigers ain't ready for the Vols!!!

But Blackbird is still lookin' on the bright side---the Tigers may get whipped by the Vols---but at least the Vols ain't Vandy-----same state---different looks on the field----one team wears blindfolds and Police ankle cuffs while on the field----the other----well, the other----

Nah. Alabama, Auburn, and LSU are the first tier of the SEC West. Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee are the first tier of the SEC East.

    Joseph.

Bama was just better. Nutt's record at Arkansa is good. He is having to rebuild a team that lost sevaral key players.

Bama was overlooking the piggies somewhat. We will find out if Alabama is back Saturday. Roll Tide Roll!!!!!!!!!!

I am a Vols fan... and I think your concerns are probably phantoms. UT and LSU will field more talent than any regular season game this year.

The difference is that one coach will play to win while Fulmer will play not to lose.

The Vols should be LSU. They should've beaten UF... as I said in another thread, the position that holds the Vols back wears whistles, not helmets.

Beside Matt Jones, what other key players did Arkansas lose? Believe me, I tried that argument also...but when I looked at the roster from last year, I realized that it simply wasn't true. How is it that you think Nutt's record is good at Arkansas? Have you looked at his record from the past few years...it is nothing to really be proud of.

If the hogs lose to LA-Monroe, the writing will be on the wall.

If they lose to LA-Monroe, Nutt might be gone the next day. I doubt they could ever sink that low, though.

I received the following in an email today:

    Anthrax Scare in Fayetteville

Arkansas Razorbacks football practice was delayed nearly two hours today after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field.

Head Coach Houston Nutt immediately suspended practice while police and federal investigators were called to investigate. After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line.

Practice was resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.

After seeing your folks unhappiness with Coach Nutt, I feel lucky as an Iowa Hawkeye fan to have a coach like Kirk Ferentz on our sideline. GO HAWKS!!! oh yea....go Notre Dame too [IMG]

Notre Dame sure looked good tonight versus Purdue. Coach Weis is clearly an offensive genius.

17-34 loss against Auburn. The Hogs are now 2-4, and it is looking like probably one of the worst losing seasons in a long time. Ok. Perhaps now it is time to start asking the question: Will (Should) Nutt be here next here? It seems abundantly clear that we can't win against anybody but sorry teams like LA Munroe.
