A win is a win is a win. Bama are still struggling to get back in the first tier of the SEC.Originally posted by KenH:
Not exactly a great showing at home by Alabama against a clearly second tier NCAA Division I football team.
I wonder if the Hogs lose to Louisiana-Monroe in two weeks will that be the end of the Houston Nutt era.
BAAAAAAWWWWW, HAAAAWWWWWW, HAAAAWWW----my stars, JBot----your "Pigs" just lost to the School for the Blind!!!!!!!! A frizzlin' conference game at that!!!!!!Originally posted by blackbird:

We just lost to Vanderbilt. Aren't they supposed to be an easy win? I predict Arkansas will end the year 3-8 or 4-7. Another losing season...can it possibly be asking too much for the B-Ball Hogs to do a bit better and at least make it to the NCAA this year?
This is pathetic.

Nah. Alabama, Auburn, and LSU are the first tier of the SEC West. Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee are the first tier of the SEC East.Originally posted by C4K:

I am a Vols fan... and I think your concerns are probably phantoms. UT and LSU will field more talent than any regular season game this year.Originally posted by blackbird:
See?? The reasonin' is----I am a big LSU fan----and I have just received the totally pathetic bad news that our Tigers will be playin' the "Vols" in Baton Rouge---this Monday nite---the game was postponed due to Rita----and Blackbird hates to say it----but the Tigers ain't ready for the Vols!!!
Beside Matt Jones, what other key players did Arkansas lose? Believe me, I tried that argument also...but when I looked at the roster from last year, I realized that it simply wasn't true. How is it that you think Nutt's record is good at Arkansas? Have you looked at his record from the past few years...it is nothing to really be proud of.Originally posted by patrick:
Joseph.
Bama was just better. Nutt's record at Arkansa is good. He is having to rebuild a team that lost sevaral key players.
Bama was overlooking the piggies somewhat. We will find out if Alabama is back Saturday. Roll Tide Roll!!!!!!!!!!
If the hogs lose to LA-Monroe, the writing will be on the wall.Originally posted by KenH:

I've got one word for you.Originally posted by Joseph_Botwinick:
If they lose to LA-Monroe, Nutt might be gone the next day. I doubt they could ever sink that low, though.
