The NC actually is based upon the faithfulness of God and not us!

The New Covenant is a removal of sin by Christ's blood, as opposed to a covering of sin with animal blood.

And the New Covenant is an eternal inheritance for those who are led by the Holy Spirit, as opposed to a temporal inheritance for those who were led by the Law.

Don't Protestant-ize the scriptures where it's not warranted

The following Scriptures should answer your question:

Jeremiah 31:31 “Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,

Heb. 8:13 When He said, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear.

    Also....

    2Cor 3:
7But if the ministry of death, in letters engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, fading as it was,8how will the ministry of the Spirit fail to be even more with glory? 9For if the ministry of condemnation has glory, much more does the ministry of righteousness abound in glory. 10For indeed what had glory, in this case has no glory because of the glory that surpasses it. 11For if that which fades away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory.

The New Covenant is based upon the faithfulness of God, and not our own, so that would make it both unconditional and granting to us eternal life forever!

What I said is stated explicitly in Scripture. Yours is just a wild guess

    Hebrews 9:15
For this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance

Romans 5:5 (and 2Cor 3) tells us we were given the spirit so that we can walk out this new covenant.

Colossians 3:23 - 24 tells us to do our work heartily as unto the Lord, knowing that from him we shall receive the reward of the inheritance

The New Covenant is this - the Spotless Lamb of God died to remove our sins, thereby cleansing this Tabernacle and making it fit for the presence of God to dwell in us permanently. And with the Holy Spirit in us, guiding us, we can and secure our inheritance

Promise here is related to when the Bible states that we have received the Holy Spirit as an earnest pledge to the future redemption of our physical bodies, so promise is a guarantee from God that we are forever saved and secured!

Jesus stated that NONE would be lost that he ever saved , and that he would rise up ALL that came to Him, do you believe Him then?
