Wait, what? Just what do you imagine the sitting president has to do with Supreme Court decisions?

all presidents appoint SCJ to reflect their own position on issues. Like Trump appointed Roberts, and Barrett and others, who are "conservative", so that when issues like abortion come up, they can make judgements that are in line with their beliefs. But, as it has been pointed out, Roberts, for example is now more of a liberal than he is conservative, and cannot be relied on for "conservative" decisions. The same is here in the UK, and probably all over the world, where the leaders appoint justices reflecting their own beliefs.

evidence clearly showed

clear to who? I saw videos and still photos that "clearly" show that this officer's knee was on Floyd's neck, for more a while. Floyd said "I can't breathe", but Chauvin did not move! A jury of 12 must convict 12-0 in murder trials. Why do you suppose Joe said that Chauvin was guilty?

Joe doesn't know what day it is half the time. And there is definite REASONABLE doubt that Chauvin was on Floyd's neck as long as they say he was or even at all. Remember, there must be NO reasonable doubt for a jury to convict. The Jury did not follow the law. suppose that you are right, and Chauvin did not "cause" the death of Floyd, I doubt that any appeal can overturn the guilty verdict. Sadly mob rule is the name of the game in certain cases in the US. I do remember one O J Simpson, a black man, who murdered 2 white people. He got off, even though he was guilty! Rough justice, or no justice, in some cases. We have them here in the UK, all too frequently, by Liberal justices who know ZILCH about "justice"!

The appeal process will be to have the sentence overturned based upon remarks that the Jury could have heard regarding the case, so not saying verdict was wrong, but was not legal!

Nope. That is not an accurate portrait. Roberts was never conservative. Appointees have often been compromise nominees. But you did not answer my question at all. Did you understand it?

How about this one. How did Nixon effect Roe v Wade?

No judge will overturn the guilty verdict as that will cause nationwide riots and burning

Right, then I've already refuted that in #128. BTW, it was so bad that the Court had been even more liberal before Nixon's presidency. But he did not get to appoint just anyone he wanted four times. A lot of these appointments have been compromises.

But now the Supreme Court is supposed to be the most Conservative for many decades
