Anybody can file a suit about virtually anything. It doesn't have to be true or even believable. Somehow, I thought in America you were innocent until proven guilty. I suppose Bush took that right away.
Ever wonder about the TIMING of this lawsuit hitting just before the election? Why didn't this guy file suit back when Obama was running in the primaries if he just wanted to get at the truth. I have a funny feeling that isn't his objective.
I don't 'get it'. Why do you say innocent until proven guilty? The question here is not that of a crime for which he is charged! Its a simple but necessary question of "Does he qualify to run, or has he misrepresented or been confused regarding his qualifications.
Don't you get it? McCain has already survived a suit contesting his proof. It resulted in being dismissed. Whatever were the issues.... it wasn't his birth certificate in question, but more of a question of where he was born.
As far as 'privacy issues': I've had to present a birth certificate for my first drivers' license, for SS number, in some cases for enrollment in school. As for school records..... everytime I've entered a different school or college, I've had to provide transcripts from previous schools: Some of these 'privacy' issues..... have been required to get licensed as a dental hygienist..... to get Hazmat endorsement..... for employment....... and 3 places required background checks to include fingerprints for employment... 2 after hire, and 1 as prerequisite.
If this is so common in a common person's experience.... How come Obama is protected from supenas for discovery to prove that he is qualified by law to run?
What ever privacy he thinks is disclosed on documents which he would not want to go public can be silenced by an order of the judge and privileged and confidential to the attorney bringing suit and the judge without publishing particulars of disclosures which were required in the judgement of the court.
Either he wants to satisfy the issue..... or there is an issue!
