Legalize Pineapple Pizza

“In February 2017, the prime minister of Iceland threatened a ban on pineapple pizza. Over a year later, he had finally apologized for the threat, stating that he "went too far". More importantly, he followed with "I do not have the power to make laws which forbid people to put pineapples on their pizza. I am glad that I do not hold such power. Presidents should not have unlimited power." This is absolutely true, but something that most people do not consider when they passionately take a position on one side of a polarized political argument and are willing to use the force of government against anyone who disagrees with them.”

Some things just should not be done - pineapple on pizza is one of them. Ugh!

Kind of like Obama did starting this investigation of Trump. Like Obama did by weaponizing the IRS against conservative organizations.

The President of the US could, by decree, ban (or fatally taxing) the importation of pineapples, effectively eliminating pineapple pizza.

The Left (Democrats and the libertine LP party) have no qualms about giving a dictator absolute power to do anything, at least anything to promote the agenda of the Left.

We are in a mortal battle with the Left for our freedom.

Whatever it takes to just step back from politics for five seconds.
You do realize that the conclusion in the Op's opening paragraph is "...are willing to use the force of government against anyone who disagrees with them.” which is exactly the issue the Rev addressed and that this is a political debate forum???

Besides pineapple doesn't belong on pizza and clashes with jalapenos!

Way to take a light hearted thread and make it miserable. Take a day off for once man.
How about waking up. This is not merely a lighthearted issue, even though the guy sounds like a joke. It is an intro to a real issue of a wannabe president. The guy is clever when it comes to media and marketing, but spouts some idiotic ideas through redefinition and other sleight of hand. He’s from California and sounds like a Libertarian nutcase/fruitcake, take your pick.

“As a digital nomad, he is currently running his presidential campaign from Cancun, Mexico. As president, he seeks to transform the federal government into one that interacts with its citizens on a purely voluntary basis, so that we can be free from the coercive nature of abusive taxation and regulations.”

US production is somewhere around 150,000 metric tons. Enough to desecrate quite a few pizzas.

So, what's wrong with pineapple pizza? Pineapple is a wholesome food, & so is pizza. Wholesome + wholesome = wholesome !

Same for anchovy ice cream or a spinach sundae.
