SeekingTruth I am pretty sure what we are saying
is the policy stinks and it is a waste of our
money and time...so I guess I should say the
policy should go to Gehinnon(garbage dump).

It is sad it really looks as if Israel is being
out flanked...it is like one bad dream.

Nobody posted that they had any power to condemn souls to hell. If you got that from what was posted here, then you need to go back and read the posts again. Especially if you are "seeking truth."

What is the basis for claiming the Church at Rome was composed of Jews only?

If you are not a Christian you are going to hell, at least that is what Scripture teaches.

LadyEagle, I did several times. Perhaps you should reread the posts, this time remove youre "I hate Bush" blinders. I stand by my comment.

Well, seeking truth, I don't hate Bush and you're out of line by the accusation.

Old Reg, I don't see that quote in this thread and it doesn't matter anyway. You either believe what the Scripture teaches or you don't...allah is a false god.

LadyEagle, perhaps I was a bit harsh with that statement. For that I apologize. However, when someone makes the claim that another person is not a Christian, then in effect he has judged that person and condemned him to hell.

Read StraightAndNarrow's post, and others, accusing Bush of not being Christian. That is my point. This is not the only thread where I have seen such accusations made.

That is a ridiculous statement not worthy of a Christian! To say that President Bush is a Muslim terrorist sympathizer is flatly not true. You are in effect stating that he is deliberately sacrificing the lives of our soldiers in Iraq for no reason. Shame on you and may God forgive you for such hatred of a brother in Jesus Christ.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bush isn't a Christian unless you believe that Christians worship the same god as Moslems as he does.
(Emphasis added)

You said
I'm sick of Muslim terrorist sympathizers - especially the ones at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Since the Bush family lives at the White House isn't that calling him a terrorist and a Moslem?

Thus the comment about the "I hate Bush blinders".

Allah is a false god!

Some people do not believe in the eternal security of the believer which Scripture teaches. Does that mean they are not Christians? Some people believe in a pretrib removal of the Church which Scripture does not teach. Does that mean they are not Christians?

No, it isn't. Did you even bother to read the links I posted?

Bush isn't a Christian unless you believe that Christians worship the same god as Moslems as he does.
Referring to the above quote made by S&N - if you believe allah is the same God as YHWH, then you need to educate yourself.

I am sufficiently educated, I know what I read. S&N said that Bush believes that Christians worship the same God as Moslems do. You concurred.

Well, that's what Bush said:

In an exclusive interview with ABC News' Charles Gibson, Bush said he believes that both Christians and Muslims worship the same God.

"I think we do. We have different routes of getting to the Almighty," Bush said.
"But I want you to understand, I want your listeners to understand, I don't get to get decide who goes to heaven. The Almighty God decides who goes to heaven and I am on my personal walk," he said.

President Bush is our president, not our preacher. He is the president of all the people regardless of their position on religion.

Do we really want our president to go on national TV and say, "All you non-Christians out there are going to Hell"?

Getting back to the OP. Mr. Jim Vineyard, Pastor - Windsor Hills Baptist Church, is apparently confused as to who the true people of God are. They are those whose sins have been covered by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Since the Jews reject Jesus Christ they are no longer the people of God. Jesus Christ tells us in Matthew 21:43, speaking to the Jews, Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

What nation was to be the recipient of the Kingdom of God? The obvious answer is the Church. However, for evidence we turn to Scripture. We read in the Gospel of Luke:

Luke 12:32, KJV
32. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

The ‘little flock’ is the Church, the ‘called out’ ones, who would bring forth the fruits of the Kingdom. For those who would insist that the Church cannot be identified as a ‘nation’ we turn to the writings of the Apostle Peter:

1 Peter 2:9, KJV
9 But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

There is no Scripture in the New Testament that indicates that the judgment pronounced against Israel in Matthew 21:43 was or ever will be revoked. Therefore, it still stands. The Kingdom belongs to the little flock, the Church.

How you get that Bush said we worship the same God out of this is a mystery to me. He plainly states "The Almighty God decides who foes to heaven". Notice he said " The " implying one God, the same one I worship as a Christian, The God of creation, Father of our Savior, the God who gave His Son to shed blood as the propitiation of my sin. Not Allah, the false god of the Moslems. It seems to me that you are the one who needs to get sufficiently educated. As far as closing the thread "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen".

That isn't the issue, Ken. Start another thread.

If ya'll don't want to post about the original topic, then I'll close this thread.

Meanwhile, our nation will soon go up in flames because we are a nation of murderers who sacrifice our unborn to the spirit of Molech and have turned our backs on Israel.

Read Romans Chapter 11.

Rom.11
[1] I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

I'd like to see Bush get on tv and say something like this "But to us there is one God,the father,of whom are all things, and we are in him;and one Lord Jesus Christ,by whom are all things, and we by him.I Cor.8:6

...when President Bush landed in Baghdad for Thanksgiving dinner, clearly he'd been briefed. As al-Rubaie remembers their encounter, the president pointed at him and said, "Dr. al-Rubaie, I want you to convey this message to Mr. Sistani. Tell him that I pray to the same god he prays to... Tell Sistani I have nothing but praise for your religion. I have many millions of Muslims in my country back home."

Bush: Christians, Muslims
Worship Same God
( BP) -- In an answer likely to upset evangelicals and other members of his Christian base, President Bush said Nov. 20 that Christians and Muslims worship the same God.

Another of Pastor Vineyard's letters to President Bush:

SIR, ABOUT 300 A.D. THEOLOGIANS MISTAKENLY INTERPRETED BIBLICAL FACT USHERING IN AN AWFUL LIBEL WHICH HAS LED TO HUNDREDS OF YEARS OF ANTI-SEMITISM AND PERSECUTION OF THE JEWS.

THIS "REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY" ERROR LED TO THE JEWS BEING PRESECUTED FROM THE 3RD CENTURY TO THE 11TH & 12TH CENTURIES; IT CAUSED THE JEWS TO BE BLAMED FOR THE BLACK PLAGUE IN THE 14TH CENTURY; THE SPANISH INQUISITION OF THE 15TH CENTURY; THE PERSECUTION OF THE JEW IN EUROPE FROM THE 15TH TO 19TH CENTURIES; AND AS THE FOUNDATION OF ADOLPH'S ACTIVITIES & HOLOCAUST.

THE VATICAN, THE WORLD COUNCIL OF CHURCHES, THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF CHURCHES, ALL, ARE ONCE AGAIN EMBRACING THE SAME BIBLICAL ERROR; SAYING SINCE THE JEWS REJECTED CHRIST, THAT TODAY'S CHURCH SUPPLANTS ISRAEL AS G-D'S CHOSEN PEOPLE; AND ALL OF THAT NOTWITHSTANDING THE CLEAR, PLAIN TEACHING OF ROMANS 9, 10, & 11 IN OUR HOLY BIBLE.
