If you are interested in reading outsider takes on the issue of Moore & his influence, many Baptists, many not, please look at the comments at the end of this article:

Major denomination goes ‘gender-inclusive’ on Bible
Amazingly it took the writer about 60 words to bring up Donald Trump [emoji52]

Which supports the claim someone else made....the real issue with Moore is he will not bend the knee to Trump

*and off topic, but part of the article. The attack on the CSB is nonsense. David Allen and Schriener would take issue with the claim.

Moderate Christianity just a codename for those holding to a Christianity without the real Jesus, or use of the real Bible!

Check out your guy Al Mohler's statement, back when the struggle in the SBC between the so-called Conservatives and so-called Moderates was in full swing:

[1990 in Georgia, the moderates' candidate had defeated the conservatives' candidate for president of the state convention]
That non-aligned center of the denomination is increasingly traumatized by divisiveness caused by either party,” said Dr. R. Albert Mohler Jr., editor of the Christian Index, the Georgia Baptist newspaper.

I asked you to read the comments, not the story. Obviously at that point in time his Trump stance drew all of the news coverage, but the reasons for him not being in his position of voice were many, well before Trump. He voted for Clinton but advised Baptists to vote third party this go around. He would rather they throw away their vote than to vote for the supreme court nominees. I take issue with that, but I’m no one, just a disenfranchised previous contributor to the SBC. Thanks for playing.

Why would I read "comments" void of context? Surely you don't read other things that way.

Did he vote Hillary? Can you quote him saying That? I did three Google searches. Can't find him saying that.

No, he voted for Clinton1, raised democrat, after his position at SBC he wouldn’t say who he voted for, but what he advised speaks volumes. How can any Christian vote democrat, ever? Puzzle me that.

Any vote for a third party was a vote for Hilliary, and Christians should not vote in the Party that exjoys killing off babies before they are born!

No any vote for a third party was a vote for that particular candidate you voted for third party or other wise.

Look at it this way... Trump supporters would vote for him period, so any third party vote was never going to him anyways!

Neither should they vote for self-confessed sex offenders. What a choice!

You must be talking about Bill Clinton. His book tour is going off the rails. Yesterday he was confronted by radio personality Howard Caplan about Clinton’s 26 trips aboard Epstein’s Lolita Express, Bill’s an equal opportunity abuser, young or old, no matter, but just buy the book, he must need the money since the foundation dried up.

He boasted about "grabbing them by the p*****", which is sexual assault. At least Slick Willie was consensual...

Consensual ----- Not necessarily - Since Clinton was a supervisor - those under him, may have felt that
their job would be in jeopardy if they did not "consent".

One other big difference - It has been several years since Trump has been involved
BUT - Clinton was having these affairs WHILE as POTUS!!!

As George Bush stated- he was going to steam-clean the White House Exective office

Well, we only know about Lewinsky for sure and she seems to have been a willing if not enthusiastic participant...rather different from grabbing random women by their genitals and forcing unwanted kisses on them...

A Republican candidate is not guaranteed the Christian vote. A Christian should not for the candidate they feel is best for the job based on their Christian world view. If that is 3rd party, it is 3rd party. You should not ever have to comprise your principles based upon the "3rd party vote, is a vote for Hillary" myth

If you feel Trump is the best....then vote for Trump. If you think 3rd party is better, vote 3rd party. Vote your Christian conviction.
