Libertarianism is Pro-Life

The position of the Libertarian Party is that government should stay out of the abortion issue - neither subsidizing it nor banning it as a medical procedure. About 1/3 of Libertarians(or as best as can be measured) are pro-life. Personally, I am opposed to any medical procedure whose primary purpose is to kill another human being - born or unborn. As per the U.S. Constitution, Amendment 10, if a state wishes to legislate on this issue, then it certainly can do so within the boundaries of its own state constitution.
Seems they made similar arguments regarding slavery, but that was only about forced labor, not murder of innocents, so I guess there's that difference.

So libertarians are against the slaughter of unborn children in the womb unless the issue interferes with states right issues. Got it.

When one says it should be left to the states to decide then there is no other way to see it.
Because that is simply the way it is.
Each state decides whether murder is a crime, rape is a crime, kidnapping is a crime, etc, etc... Abortion is NO DIFFERENT.

It is what they do, it is the foundation of our justice system. It is left up to the individual states as directed by the Constitution.

Let's no pretend that it is simply a matter of "that is simply the way it is". The fact is it is also the way Libertarians want it even with regard to abortion. Do you get that? It is also they way you all want it even with abortion. So my statement stands as it is.....the truth.

Not true Rev, no matter what you say reverend - that is simply the way it is.

BTW, I am an unrelenting pro-life small "i" independent known as an "unaffiliated" voter here in the State of Washington.

I have no affiliation with ANY organized political party.

I find it interesting that you or anyone would say "that is just the way it is" and show no concern for the unborn being slaughtered. You can say that I am wrong but your responses in this thread appears otherwise. That is the way it is.

Wrong again Rev, I have supported prolife organizations, causes and politicians, marched in prolife parades (when I was younger) been a prolife advocate my entire life.

That's just the way it is.
