Lockdown is Nonsense at this point

Lockdown doesn't change anything. OPEN THE COUNTRY NOW!

The guidelines they issue make no sense.

For example:

In Kentucky, if you travel outside of the state you must quarantine for 14 days unless it was for work. That makes NO sense at all.

This is just nonsense. Economy is trashed. Open the country back now!

From 2,500 miles away, it seems to me that the epidemic hasn't peaked in most of America yet, and you might be taking a big risk.
But time will tell, I suppose. I really hope it works out for you all.

This has exposed our govt as clowns being led by clowns.

You know all I know is we are following the mandate of the Governor here, and we are staying home... I am more or less a homebody anyway and as long as family, neighbors and friends are helping us survive we are ok... We have some neighbors who go to church on Saturday and they are always talking about a sabbath rest... I tell them you know that sabbath rest you've been talking about, well I've been on one for about a month now and it's nice... Don't watch much news, to depressing... Thanks for thinking about us Martin, I pray for everyone on the BB and especially the brethren across the pond... Keep your eyes on the Lord, he's been keeping his eyes on us... God Bless you all and keep you well... Brother Glen:)

I don't believe it will peak (at one time) in America. We are just too large. I think some areas would be OK, done may not.

It just does not seem logical to me to compare where I live (the CSRA) with New York City (just an example).

The CSRA has a population of about 800,000. We have had 32 COVID related deaths. The CSRA is 9,605 square miles.

New York City has a population of about 8.5 million. They have had 10,977 COVID related deaths. New York City is 302.6 square miles.

I can't see that there can be a one size fits all solution because one size simply does not fit all.

I cant cant believe McMaster caved in and shut SC down. I thought he had more fortitude than that. I knew our governor (Kemp) was a spineless weasel.

What got me was he closed all the state parks. That was stupid (we go to Georgia parks anyway, but people need to get out).

Within 50 miles of me there are 15 cases of the China virus.

School was still cancelled for the rest to the year and we are under “lockdown” orders.

Silly.

The fear tactic has been wildly successful. I expect this to be the new ‘normal.’ Control is the name of the game. Trump has disappointed me with letting the medical ‘experts’ run us into the ground. Fauci is supposed to be an HIV expert, who is touting the Gates line that we must vaccinate. Where is his vaccination for HIV after 18 yrs? Yeah, not here.
Small pox, anyone?! I’ve heard Mexico for that roll out, since the warm nations seem to be avoiding covid for the most part, start small pox there, plus the added bonus of being close to the US. Control, control, control. Joke? Everything that we took as normal, is over. It’s not a joke. It WAS a great success, eh?

You are the same one who said that the death rate is six percent so why should we pay any attention to you?

Best thing I have seen is a sign that said: "Democrats, I thought you were pro-choice, you know, my body my choice?"

Well, the Governor of Indiana Eric Holcomb said that people asking him to open the economy back up was not helpful. He used to work for IN Sen. Richard Lugar so I guess that he is a country-club Republican. The weakness of the GOP is the main reason that the Dems are so powerful.

Because the alarmists are always right remember?
The problem is sometimes they are....and then they are all that's left .

I keep thinking of ancient Rome, and the one servant who said "I don't know if it is a good thing to use lead cups" :Laugh
