May we all, including our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world have a blessed and peaceful Lord's Day.

"Palestine" is merely the latin name for "Philistia". That was the name Hadrian gave to the "Promised Land" area after he expelled the Jews from it in 135-136 AD because the Philistines(Palestinians) had remained loyal to Rome.

As I said, I will be glad when Israel shoots huge munitions back at the terrorists.

When The Prince of Peace returns, He kills quite a few. Peace by superior firepower is about the best we can do in the meantime.

Think that whatever their living conditions are, they are far superior to what the jews have suffered at hand of radical islam, and the group behind getting palestein freedom are still terrorists, correct?

    INCORRECT.
    Radical Islamists kill indiscriminately.

Regarding Jewish/Zionist terrorism, read this article in Haaretz:

This is the death toll this millennium reported by the BBC.

In 3 Israeli offensives against Gaza - justified by rocket fire - the death tolls were -
    2014
    Palestinians, 2104, including 1462 civilians - 750 women & children
Israelis, 73, including 7 civilians killed by rockets

    2012
    Palestinians, 167, including 87 civilians -
Israelis, 6, including 4 civilians killed by rockets

    2008-9
    Palestinians, 1391, including 759 civilians - 750 women & children
Israelis, 13, including 3 civilians killed by rocket. 4 of the Israeli military were killed by "friendly fire."

The Palestian rockets are primitive & rarely deadly. The Israelis use deadly high explosive & incendiary weapons against hospitals, schools & UN shelters.

In terms of deaths by terror, the Israelis are 100 times more deadly than the Palestinians.

And what have the Islamic countries suffered under the terrorist attacks of US & UK, starting with the so-called "war on terrorism" styled a "crusade" by Bush? How many victims, how many cities & homes destroyed?

I've just received this email from "Jewish Voice for Peace" -

    Ahed's birthday

    Dear Ian,

Happy birthday in Palestinian Arabic is “kul sana wa inti salmeh,” which literally translates something like, “May you be safe this year and every year.”

We’re hoping Ahed Tamimi’s next year, and every year after, is safer than this one. Her birthday is January 31st, and this year, her 17th, she’ll be celebrating it in prison.

Click here to send Ahed a message of support and solidarity on her birthday.

Ahed’s story of slapping an armed soldier after the IDF tried to enter her family’s home on December 15 is but one small incident during an entire young life controlled by military occupation.

Earlier that day, a soldier shot Ahed’s 14-year-old cousin Mohammed in the head with a rubber-coated steel bullet, which required risky surgery to remove. Three years ago, soldiers shot her mother Nariman in the leg. Two years before that, soldiers shot and killed her uncle Rushdi. The year before that it was another cousin, Mustafa, who died from a high-velocity tear gas canister to the face point-blank. This is an incomplete list.

So who is on trial? Ahed. A young girl the same age as my daughter, who is sitting behind bars facing a sentence of 10 years for defending herself and her family.

Let her know that you won’t let Israel put yet another child behind bars and make her disappear. That you’ll be thinking about her on Wednesday— and next week when her trial begins.

Send Ahed a birthday card that honors her life and her brave act of resistance.

"Kul sana wa inti salmeh ya Ahed!
Sending you love and solidarity on your 17th birthday, Ahed.
We stand with you and with all Palestinian prisoners.
Thank you for your bravery and steadfastness, and happy birthday!"

Ahed isn’t the first child to be locked up in Israeli military detention and she won’t be the last—until we pressure Israel to change.

By standing up for Ahed, we are standing up for the approximately 350 reported children currently in Israel’s military detention— for the approximately 700 Palestinian children Israel arrests and prosecutes every year. Ahed herself, when she had a chance to talk with her father, told him “to make a campaign for all the women and children in prison.”

Ahed, her family, and all the nonviolent resisters in her village of Nabi Salih, are heroes in my book. They endure tear gas, rubber-coated steel bullets, home invasions, arrests, and tragedy after tragedy.

To ensure a safer year— a safer world— for Ahed and all Palestinian children, we must continue to work towards ending these many decades of military occupation. And we will continue to push for the legislation introduced by Rep. Betty McCollum, the Promoting Human Rights by Ending Israeli Detention of Palestinian Children Act, to prevent the use of U.S. tax dollars for the Israeli military’s ongoing mistreatment of Palestinian children.

Today, please join me in saluting Ahed and wishing her a happy birthday, and a safer, happier, more peaceful future.

    I know it’s getting closer.

Jewish Voice for Peace - Wikipedia

"Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) is a United States left-wing activist organization....it 'seeks an end to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem'. Its critics say it musters Jewish opposition to and works to undermine public support for Israel. The Anti-Defamation League criticized JVP for what it described as 'anti-Israel radicalism' and 'questionable tactics' to promote its agenda, describing a 2017 video campaign as 'veering dangerously close to repeating anti-Semitic slurs'."

There will always be the death of innocents though in a war, and the blame rests mainly upon the radical Islamist, and those Muslim leaders who refuse to denounce them!

Are the Palestinian women and Children all terrorists as well?

The way I see it is, The Arabs wont be happy in the region unless Israel is gone. No amount of peace or anything will please them. So I do have to side with Israel on the matter in the Middle East. Not because of Biblical reasons, but Worldly.
Do I think they go to far sometimes? Of course.

I agree on this, the war in Iraq was unjustified, I work with a few Muslims, that came over during it. The one was happy about the war and the other one was not. The Sunni/Shia divide.

Now that is just plain cruel. I do not mind when actual terrorists get shelled. But don't forget the innocent. You could try Praying.

If this is happening then truly I hope no one can support this.

Its going both ways. But in the Big picture. I would rather have an Free country over there, and not one supported by Terrorism.

After living 2 years in the Middle East, you grow accustomed to hearing the most vile antisemitic faslehoods pop out of just about everyone over there.

Saying that only radical Islamists are seeking the destruction of Israel is akin to claiming only hood wearing klan members were the only racist during segregation.

    Are you just plain ignorant?

What do you think they should just call themselves?

Do you believe in the Kurdish people?

Prior to people coming here, there was no such thing as Americans. Do you still deny this?

Why don't you study the USS liberty incident, and get back to me on that statement.

Im not anti-Israel at all. But completely untrue statements like that bother me.

What country has not mistreated people?

    Sarcasm alert -
Israel is God's chosen people - read the Old Testament & you will see that they are incapable of doing anything that ignorant Goyim would call "wrong" or "unjust."

If Micah were to prophesy today in Israel, there would be no need for this message:
    He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
    But to do justly,
    To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?
