Donahue in typical liberal fashion wants to control the message and does not want any criticism. As he said he just wants Cruz to sit down and shut up.
Just another example of this typical controlling of the message, Bob Beckle said yesterday on the 5 that Obama should delay the individual mandate for a year because of all the troubles in getting it started. He then said this morning that soon after the show he received a phone call from the white house telling him to shut up.

There you go, confused again. I said Cruz seems to oppose healthcare for the many as he proposed nothing constructive. He simply, or so it appears, wants to kill healthcare.
I still say it is far too soon to know if ACA is good or bad. There are some worrisome aspects. Whether they will be real or not only time will tell.
It is not too early to say Cruz offers nothing constructive.

You say this with the certainty of the uninformed. A simple check of Cruz's election platform would have told you where he stands on healthcare, but you didn't bother to check it out before you posted this nonsense. Cruz supports free-market insurance for healthcare, the very system the ACA is designed to systematically destroy. Cruz, like many Tea Party Republicans, supports tax credits for the purchase of health insurance, and tax-free health savings accounts -- another medical preparation protection the ACA targets for destruction by taxing these entities out of existence.
"Free-market" insurance means insurance that responds to the pressures of the marketplace. It is ludicrous to force insurance providers to accept clients with pre-existing conditions without allowing them to charge extra for that service. Those clients are known to have health problems, and insurance is designed to help cover healthcare costs for those clients because they can't afford to pay those costs themselves.
But if the insurer knows in advance they will have to pay out medical expenses for those clients, they need to be able to protect the rest of their insureds from bearing the burden of those known costs, and therefore charge those with pre-existing conditions the extra premium expenses up front to cover those costs. Otherwise, all their insureds pay for that one client's expenses by having to pay across-the-board higher premiums because the insurer isn't allowed to charge the client with the pre-existing condition those higher premiums.
Re-read what I just said. That alone is one reason the ACA is bad. It removes the free-market controls that exist for the overall good of all the insured.
I think it is us who understand that it is you who have nothing constructive to offer, since I've just shown that your statement was inaccurate from the beginning, and why? Because you didn't even bother to check and see if it was true.
You keep saying he has nothing to offer when that has been demonstrated untrue. Stopping zero-care is enough. He need not offer anything else. I reject your argument as being untrue.
Give me some examples of his proposals on improving healthcare ... and I do not mean by killing ACA ... but improving ACA or some other healthcare program for all. Thanks in advance. If he offers nothing else and had not offered anything else he has not shown leadership. A leader knows what they are against and can articulate what is needed to make improvements for all.

If you aren't going to accept anything but "some other healthcare program for all," then you limit the argument to pre-conditioned failure. A universal healthcare program is unworkable. The best and only response is that which (as I said earlier and you utterly ignored) is a free-market insurance plan, healthcare savings accounts, and tax credits for insurance purchase. Nothing else will work. Government is not good at providing services best left in the hands of professionals.

If you want to improve obamacare you have to begin with getting rid of the individual mandate. Then what happens is the whole thing falls apart. So there is no way to improve obamacare. Hence we need to just get rid of it.

We had the greatest healthcare system in the history of the world before the Democrats started yelling about insurance. We fund 90% of the research and development into new medicines. No one went without medical treatment.

The Democrats are attacking the Tea Party because the Democrats have no answers to the Tea Party critique of the Democrats' squandering of trillions of dollars under Obama. The Democrats have hated the Tea Party so much that they have used the IRS in an illegal, criminal manner to attack the Tea Party and deny them the Constitutional rights due all Americans.
