Melania Trump to Kick Off Anti-Bullying Campaign in Detroit

Why Detroit?

Why not just walk down the hall to the Oval Office and announce it? Maybe Donald and Melania could have a dual announcement.

She could have Liddle Bob Corker there. Hey, make it a party and have Wacky Congresswoman Wilson, Head Clown Cryin' Chuck Schumer, Pocahontas, Little Marco, Lyin' Ted, and Crazy Bernie there too. MSNBC could send Dumb as a Rock Mika and Psycho Joe to cover it.

This is supposed to be some anti-bullying week, news to me, and Betsy DeVos is from Michigan and bullying in schools is one of her big issues, at least according to USA Today:

check out those pictures of Mel with the kids, runs the gamut from amused to embarrassed. I don't want any kid to eat lunch alone either, but this making a big deal about nothing but maybe the lunches are edible again post-Michele.

What is your objection to what she is doing?

Is it the cause?

Is it the fact that it's being kicked off in Detroit? If so, why?

I'm not objecting to what's she's doing, per se. She's running an anti-bully campaign and her husband acts like a bully with his insulting juvenile names he calls people. In other words, she didn't need to go to Detroit, she could have stayed at home and lectured her husband.

I thought she was going to Detroit, you know, blue collar, racially diverse city. Instead she went to one of the richest suburbs in Michigan.

About as good as I am on those that insult him and call him names over what are often trivial matters.

I have sympathy for Melania. Anti-bullying is a good cause. I've been for it since the seventh grade when my future wife's brother did it to me. But the Trump has raised it to new level. The president of the United States shouldn't be bully.
