I don't see a definitive date here. You might have a point that "during the first few weeks of 1933" is misleading when compared to Jan. 31, 1933." I don't see the significance of that. You have provided nothing that refutes the methods used by the Nazi's to consolidate power which are the same as those Trump has used, namely to discredit the free press in America. I've read "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich as well." it is a definitive history of that period.

I'm not denying the Nazis didn't consolidate power by cracking down on the free press. I am saying that the description of when it went down in your source material is flawed.

Trump is not enacting a new law granting him powers to incarcerate journalists, confiscate their printing presses, and physically torturing opposition politicos.

Why doesn't Trump just call in Schiff, Pelosi and Shummer and say "is this what you want released to the public unedited by me". If they say yes, put it out.
