The use of the obviously flawed memo to fraudulently obtain the search warrant is what is objectionable. Has anyone on this thread said that the Russian collusion investigation was wrongfully started because of the surveillance warrant? I will go back through and review...

Calminian hints at it when he says, "the Russian narrative has been shattered".
The idea the Nunes memo does not impact the Russian probe is something CNN is going to trumpet because they have an obsession with the Russia collusion story. It is telling their main take away is "the Russian probe isn't affected" because it fits their agenda. That said, Trump is really stretching it when he says the Nunes memo totally vindicates him in the Russian probe.

Rod Rosenstein is far more likely to be fired than Mueller, and he would never fire Mueller. But Rosenstein really wanted Comey out and he got his way again.
There is another school of thought that Mueller has flipped and is working with Trump now.

The left and the far right have often criticized the grand jury system, but at least there's a huge jury and a record with those Supposedly, these FICA judges are mostly regular judges across the country and the Chief Justice appoints them with NO Senate oversight. See, a recipe for abuse and corruption, and Page was a case where an American citizen was treated in this system like he was an international terrorist.

I want to say a little bit more about the FISA courts - you know, the FBI and DOJ tried to get a warrant at first on this Page person earlier that year and failed until the dossier appeared. Because it is a FISA court, you will never even know who was actually there.

I guess it would define what constitutes the official "start" of the investigation. I will say that at this point, the entire investigation has become fruit of the poisonous tree. When illegally obtained information mixes with and aides the discovery of legitimately obtained information, the entire pool of information becomes poisonous.
The entire investigation should be immediately shut down.
I don't accept the government conspiracy theory about 9/11.
One of the first things Hitler did when coming to power was to discredit and abolish the "Marxist Press." This sounds a lot like what Trump and his neo-Nazi friends are trying to do in America. It's not going to happen here. The Resistance is strong.

Not sure where you're getting this revisionist history of Nazi Germany. The first concentration camps were not even authorized until after the Reichstag fire, which happened on February 27, 1933, not "in the first weeks of 1933". For that matter Hitler wasn't even in power until January 31, 1933. If memory serves the first concentration camp was Dachau and the earliest it could have opened would have been March or April 1933, based on the legislation passed after the Reichstag fire.
Also wondering how the Nazis, whom your article states controlled 3% of newspapers, could have deployed a media campaign against the Communists "in the first weeks of 1933" when Hitler's first full day in office was February 1st.

The first weeks of 1933 were not in March (or April) of 1933, which was the time frame for the creation of Dachau.
The Nazi media that controlled less than 3% of the newspapers could not deploy a media campaign in "the first weeks of 1933". The article contradicts itself when it says it occurred in "the following months" after Nazis seized control of the printing presses. This also would have been March and April of 1933. (The Nazi party won the elections on January 31, 1933.)

It was Obama that spied on the Fox reporter and his parents also. Trump has done little except laugh at the press for their inability to report factually. That hardly makes Trump Hitler/Stalin since both of those twin monsters controlled their press in the long run upon pain of death. It turns out that no one controls the lamestream media or CNN, if you can even call them press--maybe yellow journalist. It is Obama that sought to control the press with FBI power.

My source is my ability to read and reason logically. How hard is it to understand that since Adolph Hitler was not the chancellor of Germany until January 30, 1933, therefore none the actions described as taking place in "the first few weeks of 1933" could have happened until a minimum of January 31st, 1933. It's just common sense.
However, I checked my copy of "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" written by William L. Shirer, an American journalist that lived in Germany during the 30's and 40's. The book is considered one of the definitive works on the history of Nazi Germany.
The purge of opposition newspapers did not happen until after the Reichstag fire of February 27, 1933. On February 28, 1933 while in emergency session, the German legislature passed "The Decree of the Reich President for the Protection of the People and the State". This allowed imprisonment of political opponents and the trashing of the opposition press.

I don't see a definitive date here. You might have a point that "during the first few weeks of 1933" is misleading when compared to Jan. 31, 1933." I don't see the significance of that. You have provided nothing that refutes the methods used by the Nazi's to consolidate power which are the same as those Trump has used, namely to discredit the free press in America. I've read "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich as well." it is a definitive history of that period.
Just so you know, revision of history is very popular with the Democrats. They believe repeating a lie long enough, makes it truth.
