.

Let me ask...
Do you believe Jesus is God? Do you believe Jesus is deity?

It shouldn't be that hard to answer, HW. a simple yes or no for both questions.

Note: I did not ask if you believe Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

I asked, Do you believe Jesus is God? Do you believe Jesus is deity?

When you cannot answer a direct question you should be red flagged.

I ask you a question and others also here.......

if Spurgeon was so strong with his belief that Michael was jesus----
speaking of myself--Spurgeon knew a lot more than I on the bible and prob the most of you here also.

question---Could it be that he had some what more LIGHT on the subject than we do--he knew all these scriptures you all are throwing out to refute this---so is it possible that he might have had seen more than we on this subject ??????????

I believe Spurgeon is using typology. Jesus is referred to as "the first Adam" yet, no one would conclude that Jesus and Adam are one in the same. Nonetheless, I base my beliefs on the Word of God, not what man says about the Word of God.

The question you ask makes little difference...the question we asked you has eternal consequences if wrong.

We read that Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and his angels, and the dragon was cast down. The fight is going on every day. Michael is the Lord Jesus, the only Archangel.”

Spurgeon's own words from the other post.................................

Michael is the Lord Jesus, the only Archangel

would you ask Spurgeon that same question if he were here with him believing it also ???

Nope....I read enough of his stuff to know where he stands on who Jesus is. In fact I believe Jesus manifested himself in the OT before he became a man.

You are a full preterist.
You believe that Jesus has already come.
You believe that we presently live in a new heaven and a new earth.

Do you believe that there will be a resurrection of the just and the unjust?
Do you believe in a future coming of the Lord?
If Michael is Christ, is Christ deity, and conversely is Michael, an angel, deity?
Did Christ rise from the dead in a physical resurrection?
Did he return in a physical manner?
These are questions that I've asked him on other threads because I suspected that he is a Jehovah's Witness. He never answered the question about Jesus literally rising from the dead, nor whether Jesus died on a literal cross. He also does not believe in a literal hell either, and notice that his name is "His WITNESS" I do not believe he is a genuine Preterist. Although I am vehemently opposed to Preterism-full and partial-there are things about even Preterism that he is not consistent about, but more consistent with JW's.

Hebrews is clear, not one of the angels was given authority to sit at the Father's side. Michael, although a chief angel, had no authority to sit at the Father's side... Because he was an angel and not deity.

But Jesus, the Almighty Son of the living God, was given that authority. Your misconceptions have Jesus becoming Michael the archangel upon his return to the paradise of God. Yet Scripture shows a definite distinction between the two entities. One has authority to sit by God; the other, does not.

In Revelation, Jesus clearly identifies Himself as "Jesus Christ". He is none other.
