This thread is wrong in a lot of levels but it does not prove Zaac right. It only proves he has equals in his political opposites.

You honestly proud of this Christian behavior?

I'm neither proud nor not proud of it. I just like messing with liberal know it alls.

I am proud that I finally figured out how to play Fourteen Carat Mind correctly on the piano.

Take a look at this thread later and maybe think about what this stuff says about you as a human being.

That I'm witty, a good piano player and devastatingly handsome?

This is pretty much admitting to being a troll. Serious question. Are you actually trying to provoke a fight here? That's what it looks like. I've dealt with you in a civilized manner when you aren't behaving like this. What exactly is your problem? What you said was blatantly wrong. You got called on it by several respected posters. What exactly are you trying to accomplish here?

What is evil? Saying that I think Spider-man should not be Politically Corrected?

Is that your problem with this? That this is politically correct? So can minorities ever get a super hero role without you calling it politically correct? Are they capable of landing a role just because it might actually work?

"No sir, superheroes are white and we'd like to cast you but unfortunately it would be politically correct."

There is about 60+ years worth of media containing nothing but white centric superheroes whether it be in comic, graphic novel, movie or television form. Is it cool if this guy gets a turn to be spiderman for a little bit? Are you that threatened by this?

I wouldn't like Lando Calrissian in Star Wars to be recast as a white guy.....I think he is always a black guy now. Nick Fury of the Avengers....should stay who he is....black! Changing a character just because its politically correct is evil, dumb and not being creative at all. I don't want a Zorro to be white or black or Asian......just silliness. If they made a Bruce Lee movie I would not want Brad Pitt or Samuel l Jackson type person to be him for Diversity sake.

Casting a black spider man is not evil. I can't even put into words how stupid that line of thinking is. You know what else isn't being creative? Rehashing all of these comic book stories in the first place. Peter Parker is an American teenager that was bitten by a spider. You can interchange the race of the actor with ease because you know...there are black people in America. It's fine.

You had every chance in the world to make your point without resorting to your bigoted remarks. Having a preference is fine but you didn't stop there. You carried it over the line.

Bruce Lee was an actual human being so no, Samuel Jackson would not be a good choice. Zorro is a Mexican character in a story that takes in place in Mexico and at times Texas so another ethnicity would probably not fit the setting. You ironically brought up a character in Nick Fury that has been historically portrayed both as a white and black character. Nobody cared.

I care about the story and I've been surprised before by actors that I didn't think fit the role they had been cast in. (Heath Ledger as the Joker comes to mind) So why don't you just give it a shot man. Let them have this one for crying out loud.

Be a good person. I know you have it in you.

Spider-Man originated in African mythology and developed further in other cultures. Go check out the legend of Anansi. :)
Admitted Spider-Man enthusiast here, since I was old enough to read comic books - and I started reading very very young. I would love to see Spider-Man represented in multiple versions, with each touching on the different stories throughout history, in every cultural background.

Good for you Mary Jane....now try to educate yourself and study Stan Lee.

I don't understand the felt need to do things like this. If there is perception that a specific race is underrepresented in the superhero area then create new ones that do represent them.

Why change existing ones. It is just not necessary and comes across as quite childish.
