Sin begins in the heart and mind of a person.
It could be one isolated sin.
It could happen so frequently that it could be said to be habitual.
In Proverbs 6:16-19 warnings are given to attempt to warn and guard against such sins.
How do you distinguish between a sincere mistake, a lie, an intentional lie?
What is the proper way to address such a person?
Are we to address it?
What if the person persists, either because of a mental defect, or being bound and under the power of such sin?
Is the loving thing to do just ignore it, as if it did not happen?
Or speak the truth in love, offer correction?
