Mary was "a virgin", she is not the entitled "The Virgin" which ascribes two things to her 1) deity and 2) perpetual virginity.
But a non-Catholic or non-Orthodox with an evangelical background would not pick up on that, but for us, it's an ear-bomb.
You are referring to when she is called 'Mother of God", correct?

Brother...Jesus Christ was begotten in the gospels- Matthew/Mark/Luke/John, in Bethlehem, in Israel, under Rome.

That's when the eternal Word of God incarnated as the Son of God.
Our point of disagreemen is the incarnation did not cause the eternal Word to be the Son of God. I understand He always was the Son. Now though He is now also always man, Hebrews 13:8.

I was indeed Catholic. and yes a practicing Catholic (through Conformation).

I love Mary I don't worship her.
I see the definite article as proper because she was chosen as the mother of our Lord from among all the virgins of Israel.

Whatever you see, that's their doctrine.

And the Bible calls her a virgin and Paul commanded us Hold fast the form of sound words.

Son of God, or God the Son?

Are these specific centers where Muslims are being taught? Thanks.
All the ones from Bowling Green are from the same Mosque. The two few Nashville that I have meet go to the same mosque their. I just assumed it was being taught through the local mosques. I never asked for specifics of who was teaching them this.

*clarification. Two separate mosques in view here. 1 in Bowling Green and 1in Nashville.

There is no indefinite article in Koine Greek, but what then do you personally do with "Trinity" - since it is not found in the scriptures? Is it a sound word George? Do you hold fast to it?

God the Son, the Word, was eternally begotten of/by the father, while His humanity was born as incarnated as Jesus Christ!
False teaching. Because it ". . . eternally begotten of/by the father, . . ." has no Biblical basis.

God the Word only became God the Son when he incarnated.
An interpretation. Tne Bible teaches that at Jesus' birth He would be called the Son of God. Now a point of disagreement, He was the Son of God, He did not become the Son of God by being born.

Son of God, or God the Son?
There are not two or three gods. The Son is Biblically called the Son of God. God calls His Son God, Hebrews 1:8. The Son is God with His Father. The Son is YHWH of the OT who appeared, Genesis 12:7; John 8:56; John 1:18. The Son of God is the sole cause, John 1:3 and sustainer of creation, Hebrews 1:3.

I honestly have no idea how you arrived at that baseless claim. I literally have nothing to say.
I am in disagreement with others on this thread but at least I can have a reasonable conversation with them because they don't cast such utterly baseless accusations.
Once again we see finding fault with the poster to avoid defending your bogus assertion that the Word became the Son at the incarnation. Hebrews says of the Son, is forever and ever.

last time I checked, the translators in the Nas/Nkjv were not Kjvo, nor was Dr Robertson nor those scholars in BDAG!
Incessant deflection and denial. The mistranslation was introduced by the Vulgate Latin translation.
Just because some held to this view in the past, does not support its validity in the present in light of present day scholarship.
