The main point of "faith alone" is that we are saved by faith alone without any works or following the Law. This doesn't remove the need for repentance.
we agree, but others do not

This passage is simply telling us that sinners are "made alive" in the Lord, when they "call upon the Name of the Lord" for their salvation! It does not have the "reformed slant", which says that the Spirit first "enables" the sinner, or "regenerates" them, and then they are "able" to call on the Lord. This is "theology" and not "Bible"!
Repentance is given to Gods Elect through their Saviour Jesus Christ with the remission of sins Acts 5:31
31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
I disagree. Israel is the elect of all nations here in Acts 5:31. Also called the Israel of God Gal 6Israel is ONLY the Jews
Romans 9:6-8Israel is ONLY the Jews
What did Paul tell the Philippian jailer to do for salvation from the lake of fire?
Did Nineveh's repentance make any difference to the Assyrians? Was Jonah's message to Nineveh mainly for the benefit of the Northern Kingdom or for Assyria? The NK didn't seem to get the clue if 60 or so years later they all marched naked to Assyria. And, Nineveh's repentance didn't amount to much when 60 years later, they committed some of the greatest acts of brutality in history against the NK. If Assyria could break the code yet even after Amos and Hosea, the NK didn't, it appears that God was communicating with His people and He didn't want them to fall under His judgments but they did anyway.
Fast forward about 300 years. Who was Paul talking to in Romans? Believers in Christ or unbelievers? In Romans 1:18-32, was Paul referring to believers in Christ or unbelievers? What was the solution to the 18-32 issues?
Fast forward about 50 years. Who was the Lord speaking to in Revelation 2 and 3? Believers or unbelievers? Who was the Lord speaking to in Revelation 3:20? Believers or unbelievers?
"Get the Message yet?"
Which message or, excuse me, Message, or maybe better still MESSAGE, do you think I don't get? And thanks for using Revelation 3:19 to answer one of my questions.
