I hope Trump can get some level of freedom for Christians in North Korea.
At the present time it is the No.1 worst country in the world to be a Christian, and that's saying something!

The trouble with being a dictator, particularly a nasty one, is that any efforts toward freedom can be seen as weakness by those below. Although Kim Jung Un is playing nice at the moment, he has had numerous family members, underlings, musicians and other undesirable people killed in brutal ways -- many executed by means of an anti-aircraft gun. If you give their families too much freedom, they may come after you. Then there's the whole "revolution of rising expectations" phenomenon to make things more difficult for Kim, even if he is truly wanting to change.

I suspect he needs something very badly and I'm hoping the Trump Administration can figure out what that is (if they haven't already) and bring stability and freedom to the Korean peninsula. If he can pull it off, it will likely be the crowning achievement of his administration and one of the great turning points of this century.

Perhaps they/we can discover that we're dealing with real people - people like us with hopes & fears - and that all they/we can do to relieve tensions & work towards normality can only be positive.

We need to pray on for Christians & other minorities, around the world, including NK.

And nuclear weapons kill people like us - NOT the actual aggressors.

You are correct. Un is a psycho nut, This could be a show. But even if he goes back on his word and it turns out Trump was played just like the last two presidents, Trump still got those folks released. I’ll take it.

There's always a risk of being played. That is not a failure unless the President and his team do something colossally stupid. I don't think that they will.

...Trump still got those folks released. I’ll take it.
Absolutely. That's a clear win, no matter what happens next.

There are stories circulating today that Giuliani may have jumped the gun announcing the release of the prisoners. They were supposed to have been released on Thursday, but nothing has happened publicly yet.

I hope they can still get this done.

Fear not, the Left handed progressives will issue a complaint from the Ministry of Truth (CNN) forthcoming.
