I assume you are referring to Lieutenant General Michael Flynn. Regarding prison, he has not been sentenced, so you don't actually know if Mueller will ask for that. And you claim it is "for nothing." He pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI. That is certainly not "nothing." Moreover, according to the Trump Administration, Flynn was fired for lying to VP Mike Pence about his conversations with the Russian ambassador about sanctions.

So the official story from the Trump Administration is that Flynn lied. The story from Mueller's team is that Flynn lied. That seems to indicate a pattern.

In short, he is incompetent.

Lots of things are happening for him to be incompetent. We will see how this turns out.

If you have a memory lapse or get your facts slightly confused, Mueller will charge you with lying to the FBI. That is what happened to Flynn and that is what Mueller wants to do to Trump. Trump is a fool if he agrees to talk to Mueller about anything ever. Mueller was in charge of the FBI through most of Obama's tenure and he never investigated anything from Fast and Furious on. The FBI is totally corrupt. It is like the KGB or something. Mueller cost the taxpayers $6,000,000 for a lawsuit settlement due to his incompetence in the anthrax case and Mueller drove another innocent suspect to suicide. You can have him for a neighbor but I don't want to be around him. Flynn forgot to take a lawyer with him because he thought that Mueller is honest--and so Mueller tricked him and charged him.

(1) How do you know this?
(2) Why is it wrong for Mueller to hold Flynn accountable for not telling the truth, but it is fine for the Trump Administration for holding Flynn accountable?

The President can always say, "I don't recall," or "To the best of my recollection..." That is not lying. You act as if it is simply "yes" or "no" thrown at the subject in rapid-fire succession.

The FBI is totally corrupt. It is like the KGB or something.

Flynn forgot to take a lawyer with him because he thought that Mueller is honest--and so Mueller tricked him and charged him.

Flynn could retract his plea or refuse to cooperate. Why hasn't he done that?

Do you believe Trump is sincere in wanting to make America great again, and wanting what's best for this country? I do.

I never voted for him in the primary but did so in the general election for the sole reason (hope) of keeping SCOTUS abiding to the constitution. Since he's been in for over a year now I've become a fan. I'm convinced he truly wants what's best for the USA. The guy has a lot of energy, he doesn't stop (he's running circles around the lazy swamp creatures), or quit, and he gets things done despite the relentless opposition from both sides. Both sides. They're scared to death of him and what may come to light for all to see if he were to be a two term POTUS.

I suspect Trump never intended to win the election. He made all kinds of impossible promises and engaged in quite a few activities that would come back to haunt him. That's the only scenario that makes sense to me, because I don't think President Trump is a fool. For instance, only a fool would be trying to negotiate a deal for a Trump Tower in Moscow at the same time he was telling the public that he has no dealings or business interests in Russia. He was doing those things because he thought it wouldn't make a difference since he wasn't going to win. He wanted to appear as if he had been cheated out of the win -- that the election had been stolen -- and leverage the anger of the right to pursue business interests.

The buzz during the campaign was that he wanted to start a new television network along the lines of Fox News.
