I have lived in Texas and Arkansas. I have also visited Arkansas while living in Texas and visited Texas while living in Arkansas.

I have also traveled in New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida; I have also traveled(on the company plane) to North Dakota on business to visit an ethanol plant.

The only foreign country that I have set foot on is the Bahamas on a cruise.

I've lived only in New Jersey and Maine, unless my 2 years at Johns Hopkins would add Maryland. Until I was 47, I'd never been west of the Finger Lakes or south of MD. Since then, we've been to the West Coast and down as far as GA (wife's been to FL) and visited our son/DIL in southern Honshu where he's taught English as a foreign language since 2003, and to Norway (with a couple days in Iceland en route) where my wife's grandparents were born. Picked up some Norwegian during/after that trip but the only Japanese I remember is hai! and arigato.

I am certain of visiting 29 states. I am reasonably certain of passing through 30 and likely have been in 31. Hard to be completely certain of states I was in 40, 50 or more years ago. If you count states I have flown over, there are probably 5 or 6 to be included.

I grew up in California (Long Beach) but was born in and have visited Colorado many times. Thus I have traveled across Arizona and New Mexico and Nevada and Utah many times.

Due to being drafted, I have spent time in Louisiana, New York, Germany, Denmark, and England.

Due to visiting scenic sites, I have visited Alaska, Washington, Oregon, South Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana and Nebraska.

Visiting my wife's family we drove to Arkansas across Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri.

Further east, I visited Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania West Virginia and Virginia.

I also spent time in Wisconsin, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

I visited some Presidential homes, such as Washington's in Maryland, Jefferson's and several log cabins where Mr. Lincoln lived as a youth.

One last state comes to mind, Hawaii, and two other countries, Mexico and Sweden.

EDIT: The attached files are not anything I know about and am unable to figure out how to delete.

The most exotic lands I've ever travelled to were northwestern Alabama and Massachusetts. I loved Northern Alabama. I abhorred Eastern Massachusetts and thought the Western end was ok. I understand why my ancestors burned down Massachusetts during the Revolutionary War haha.

The farthest West I've ever been was Booger Tree, Alabama.

Never been East... Been to the Far East... Compliments of the Government... When they sent me to Vietnam in 1965 for a 13 month visit... With a stop off in Hawaii and R&R in Japan... For all you who don't know the lingo R&R is rest and relaxation... I remember as a child growing up in San Diego, California going to Arizona, New Mexico and Texas... Guess I can throw Mexico in the mix, since I once got a haircut in TJ... Tijuana... So here goes... Upon returning from Vietnam, went to see a girl in Oregon who wrote to me... Didn't work out... Married a California girl and raised my kids and stayed home, for over 30 years, then she died... Married another Christian lady ... Then my travel resume exploded... On our honeymoon we went to Alaska and also Mexico and we've also been to Washington State, Nevada, Nebraska, Colorado, Idaho, Hawaii again, Mexico again and we just returned from a family cruise trip in July to Alaska and flew to Canada to get on the ship... Now we get to stay home for awhile... Brother Glen:)

I've been everywhere, man
I've been everywhere, man
Crossed the deserts bare, man
I've breathed the mountain air, man
Of travel I've had my share, man
I've been everywhere.
