Falsehood.

In August, the CDC also published studies that showed mRNA vaccine protection against infection may be waning, although the vaccines were still highly effective against hospitalization.

Falsehood.

The vaccines, while highly effective, are not close to 100% effective.
Then no reason to get one.

Does not make sense.

The measles vaccine is very effective....but the vaccinated can still get the measles. Same with the pneumonia and flu vaccines.

This is especially true of the elderly. Do their lives not matter?
Stop the hysterics Jon. Nobody said anything about lives not mattering.

Your opinion
No.

It is a fact that you posted falsehoods, not an opinion. Let's revisit:

You posted this:

If the vaccine is so effective (it's not)

This is a falsehood: In August, the CDC also published studies that showed mRNA vaccine protection against infection may be waning, although the vaccines were still highly effective against hospitalization.

You also posted this:

then if the patient was vaccinated they shouldn't have to worry about it.

This is also a falsehood since it is well-known that vaccinated people are still at risk.

No, you just can't handle the truth.

This is a discussion board. People have been so used to being in an echo chamber that they can’t handle a dissenting opinion. It’s odd that you point out Jon and Andre only. We have other posters that have catch phrases like “none of this true.” Jon and Andre back up their point of views with actual sources and are often attacked for doing that.

One of the main problems is the covid and covid vaccination issue has become political. Politics is based in political ideologies which are often impossible to defend in a debate and always seeks out an echo chamber to strengthen its positions. Dissenting voices and evidence is therefore viewed as a fly in the ointment.

It is unfortunate that Christians who maintain a disciplined approach to theological discussions opt to allow division over political issues. But this happens.

My concern is this happens in churches as well. Churches are too often allowing politics to shape their congregations. Where they should be united in Christ they sometimes split over political candidates, social issues, or the color of the carpet in the worship center.

That may be true overall, the Covid Vaccine is not a political issue for me, it is a health/science/common sense question.

This became “POLITICAL” just as soon as politicians began their “mandates”, which seem to have begun as soon as a certain party gained TOTAL control of our govt.

Now, one cannot trust even science since they have been so wishy-washy on something as simple as masks.
Jon, you stated that you do not watch the news, so that is probably why you have no concept of the utter malarky being thrown at the public & why so much animosity over this topic.

This issue, as it stands today, is, IMHO, about 2% health related, and 98% politics & control.

The double standard that’s so obvious is a strong sign that the left cares not on whit about the “health” part of the issue; but the other part———well———!!!!

Excuse me? Calling out falsehoods is an "attack"? It is entirely within the rules to identify falsehoods as such.
