Israel has a reputation for not pussyfooting with terrorists. Our C in C seems to major in pussyfooting in the world of foreign policy.
Israel has destroyed nuclear capabilities before. She probably will defend herself again. Ishmael's progeny have vowed to drown Israel in the Mediterranean--after the Jews repair the Gaza perhaps.
We are approaching the fulfillment of Mt. 24 and 25, most of which applies to Israel.
Only Jesus can save them from destruction. They will be saved as a nation before all is said and done.
It is probably a wise thing to be friends with Israel.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

How would me listening to the speech change his reasoning for coming over? By the way, I have listened. He didn't say anything we didn't already know.

Which reinforces why his speaking about it before Congress without speaking to the White House first makes no sense.
If Israel wants to stop Iran, it will, with or without President Obama's okay. But we've always known that.

Yes, he said nothing new. Nothing that everyone doesn't already know or agree with. He gave an excellent speech and he sent the message to Iran; prove, show that you're willing to be a good neighbor, a responsible nation, and cease backing terrorist activity. I believe his real appeal was for the U.S. to get an ironclad deal, and for Iran to prove to the world that they will cease sponsoring terror. I don't think Israel will attack Iran, yet anyway. He's made these threats before.
He doesn't need O's permission. O is one branch of government. I don't recall O calling Bibi to let him know he was meeting with Bibi's enemies behind closed doors.
How about one of Obama's former campaign managers going over there to manage his opponents campaign. Nothing partisan there

I don't think Barack Obama or his administration have said that Netanyahu needs US permission to bomb Iran. This is about why didn't he do this through the White House?
He disagrees with the current administration's plans and has attempted to influence and insert himself into our foreign policy dealings with the help of Boehner.
Our foreign policy is set by the President like it or not. If Netanyahu doesn't like it, then say so. But you don't do what he just did for a speech that he could have just as easily have made in Israel. This visit was about him and Boehner trying to change the current path of foreign policy.
And I still think it's borderline treasonous on Boehner's behalf.
Obama is the President of the UNITED STATES. He's responsible for the foreign policy of the United States. He doesn't have to deal with the leaders of other foreign states if he chooses to not do so. Likewise, he doesn't have to tell those leaders what he has discussed with other leaders.
That does not give Boehner or anyone else playing partisan politics the right to interfere with foreign policy.

The former campaign manager is a civilian. He can do whatever he wants. He's not a representative of the United States.
I don't think so Zaac.This was from the hallowed halls of Congress. The ayatollah and infidel Putin could care less what he says from Tel Aviv or Jerusalem.
But from the Capitol Hill of the USA with a packed audience, with even Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid giving standing O's.
So, I don't think so Zaac.
Not only that, right after he finished with the statement about Israel standing alone he said - but we are not alone, we have America standing beside us (or very similar words). Then another thundering, shouting standing O from congress.
What was the message from the Congress of the USA to the world?
If Israel turns Iran into a sea of glass we will be there to watch their backs.
I'm sure Iran will have to throw the first punch (though you never know).

According to what I'm seeing out of Israel, nothing changed with this speech. It wasn't for the Ayatollah or Putin.
The Congress of the USA doesn't get to make that call.That depends on the President, not Congress.
Just waht I expected from you, brother. An Obama supporter forever. Good for you. I'll bet in high school you were an athletic supporter too?

Sure it was, that's why he had to do it from America in front of a cheering applauding congress so that the world would know congress approved of his speech. the Ayatollah had deluded himself into thinking infidel Vladimir scared us (well the president was quaking in his shoes) now he knows better.
Congress pays for it. Besides Obama has crafted the "not-my-problem" Iran plan so that he wont have to make the call (or so he hopes).

His speech will be analyzed around the globe from all angles in the weeks/months to come, it'll be interesting to toss them out here. And I was wondering how long it would take before this charge arises:

"Now, if Iran threatens to walk away from the table — and this often happens in a Persian bazaar — call their bluff," Netanyahu said. "They'll be back, because they need the deal a lot more than you do."
