I forgot to post this reply, or didn't hit the 'post reply' button; either way.
This rant doesn't address NKJV Luke 1:35 "of you" omission.
That has mostly be replied to already at:
NKJV Luke 1:35, Oops, but additionally:
"His Human Nature, neither as to Soul or Body, Pre-existed His Incarnation;
"but in the Fulness of Time He was Made of a woman,
and took a True Body of her, and a Reasonable Soul, into Union with His Divine Person; and
"therefore should be called the Son of God":
"It ought to be observed also that Christ, because He was conceived by a Spiritual Power, is called the Holy Seed Because, as it was necessary that He should be a real Man, in order that He might Expiate our sins, and Vanquish death and Satan in our flesh; so was it necessary, in order to His Cleansing others, that He should be Free from every spot and blemish, (1 Peter 1:19.)"
The Luke 1:35 “of you” omission is not important, as it is clearly implied, indicating Christ will be born from Mary.
Luke explicitly names Gabriel (
Luke 1:19, 26), emphasizing that this Message comes with Divine Authority.
• Mary’s statement is literal: she has “known no man” (cf.
Matthew 1:18). The text affirms her physical virginity, making the forthcoming conception entirely miraculous.
• The virgin birth fulfills
Isaiah 7:14,
“Behold, the Virgin will Conceive and give birth to a Son,” anchoring Jesus’ identity as Immanuel.
• Joseph’s later confirmation—“he had no union with her until
she gave birth to a Son” (
Matthew 1:25)—reinforces the integrity of Mary’s testimony.
...
The NKJV people used a different Textus Receptus. Right.
From your reference:
Luke 1:35 - Textus Receptus.
"For each item in which the reading of the KJV differs from that of Estienne 1550, it is also indicated whether the reading of the KJV is supported by the Clementine Vulgate (
Clement 1592), the Complutensian Polyglot (
Stunica 1522), or by
Erasmus 1527.
"The readings presumed to underlie three other early English versions,
Tyndale 1535, the
Geneva Bible, and the
Bishops' Bible, are likewise indicated when this information may help to explain the reading of the KJV. The decisions of the later critical editors are indicated for each item."
King James Bible

And the Angel aunswered, & saide vnto her: The holy ghost shall come vpon thee, & the power of the hyest shall ouershadowe thee. Therefore also that holy thyng whiche shalbe borne, shalbe called the sonne of God.
It was not in the Textus Receptus used for the NKJV.
I thought they were supposed to be doing a Revision of the King James Bible.
They should have seen that in the King James and other Versions/ Manuscripts, if they referenced them.
Geneva Bible of 1587
And the Angel answered, & said vnto her, The holy Ghost shall come vpon thee, and the power of the most High shall ouershadowe thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall bee borne
of thee, shall be called the Sonne of God.
